If we can trump Landrieu you can change that slogan to "Eight would be Great!"

I wonder if the attitude of the remaining RATS in the Senate will change in the new Congress. The RATS lost big due to the obstrutionism of LITTLE Tommy Dashole. Americans WANT THINGS DONE! Now, if the RATS in the new Congress stall, THEY will be gone in 2004. It will be interesting to see how Senate RATS handle themselves. I think the President will get EVERYTHING he wants.

I'll start the ball rolling. Hollings (SC) is a definite republican pickup. If Bob Graham (FL) retires then this will be another republican pickup. Very close race if he stays in.

Don't forget the likelihood of finding voter fraud in South Dakota and Thune taking his rightful seat. So "Seven More in 2004" will hopefully be the catch-phrase by the time January rolls around.

But yeah, we got a great victory, but we've only won a battle, not the war. Soon as Talent is in the Republicans in the Senate have to hit the ground running and start passing Bush's legislation while the Dems are still reeling from their defeat and before they're ready.

And can someone PLEASE give Trent Lott the boot? He is NOT the kind of leadership that the Senate Republicans need.

Well, we can start by winning the Louisiana seat in December. Then we'll only need eight more in '04.

Boxer, Barbara - (D - CA)

Isn't she vulnerable? If we can find just one good candidate we can take her out.

Daschle, Thomas - (D - SD)

Eliminating this goon is a definite priority.

Leahy, Patrick - (D - VT)

Isn't this fool the former Chairman of the Judiciary Committee? (Have trouble remembering who's who. Sorry) If he is, then he has DEFINITELY got to go, too!

Schumer, Charles - (D - NY)

Hmm. You know, for a while, now, I've wanted to see Rudy Giuliani back in politics in one way or another. Any chance we can get him to run against Chucky, here? That'd sure be sweet, for Hillary to have to look at Rudy day in and day out as her fellow Senator from New York. And of course, he's a certain shoe-in.

After our pending vicorty in Louisiana, we will need 8 for a 60-seat majority, meaning we need to hold on to our current seats, and defeat just 4 democrats.
