NAACP Mufume calls for DEM leader removal
WBAL - Baltimore- Chip Franklin Show

Posted on 11/06/2002 10:24:31 AM PST by pollwatcher

This morning, I heard a very reasonable sounding commentator remarking upon the local MD. guv. race and the Democrat Party in general. I couldn't believe it was the head of the NAACP, Kwesi Mufume. In recap, he was said to ask for a change in DEM leadership, and mentioned Demogouge Gephart in particular!

Is a Big Split coming! Maybe McCall, McKinney and the NAACP will start their own split party!

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Al Sharpton is the only Democrat left with the stature and clout to head the party.

We badly need new leadership in the Democratic party. Clearly its time to stop pandering to Blacks and put one in charge. Al Sharpton should replace Terry McCauliff and be the standard bearer for the Dems in 2004! I can hardly wait.

Wasn't MD where the Dems gave out Oreo cookies -- attempting to humiliate the black Lt. Gov. choice who ran with Erlich ??

ROFL!

Look for Ed Rendell and Bill Richardson to play big parts in the new leadership. They won.

This makes 2004 even more the time to drive the stake through the Dems heart.

Name Condi Rice as VP Candidate, and give the less militant blacks a place to turn to as QUESY and company attempt to commandeer the DUMBO's

Name Condi Rice as VP Candidate...

I think this is a good idea. Young, smart, and it solves a lot of problems. I would like to know more about her politics. She is kind of a (no offense intended) "a pig in a poke."

Rush is reporting that Representative Harold Ford has 'apparently' asked Gephardt to step down. (Unconfirmed)

Disagree pappy, Gray Davis has proven a candidate can be corrupt and ruin a state's budget and economy and still get elected. he's the dem leader of the future.

Maryland WAS the place where they put up the billboard with a picture of a white teacher and white kids in a warm, cheery-looking classroom, next to a forlorn (or was it just sullen?) looking black kid in an empty classroom, with the caption "They vote; We don't"
