Arkansas Democrat Judge Grants Democrats Request for Late Polls

Posted on 11/05/2002 5:22:19 PM PST by Undertow

JUDGE SAYS POLLS IN PULASKI COUNTY OPEN UNTIL 9:00 P.M.

Judge Collins Kilgore has granted an injunction on behalf of the Democratic Party to keep the polls in Pulaski County open until 9:00 p.m.

The Democratic party asked for the injuction because of the lack of ballots at many polling locations around the county.

This is a developing story and Today's THV will have reports as they become available.

No problem! I'll take timely and sloppy any day!

Now about the issue...Why in the world are "we" letting the Dems get away with neglecting/ignoring/changing the law just so they can get some advantage?!?!?! Man!

They know Mark Pryor is losing big time or they wouldn't needed to have requested an injunction. I thought Hutchinson was supposed to lose? What happened?? This isn't what the Democrats needed if the seat was really in the bag for them.

Wow, your honor. Why stop now? Why not appoint yourself Lord-God-King of the World as long as you're legislating from your bench.

This is almost unbelievable. The precedent was set in St Louis in 2000. A judge cannot order the polls open late.

The dems are so damn blatently corrupt with absolutely no regard whatsoever for the rule of law. But what really pisses me off is that at least half of America doesn't see a problem with it!

Exactly why the RATs want to make sure they have all of the judgeships! Figures! Makes me angry that the law is always the loser with Rat judges!

Here's the reason for the injuction the Democrat's got.
Let give the translation on this one. PULASKI COUNTY!
The Democrat County Clerk totally screwed up the election process here. As of just about "3 Weeks" ago her office, that of the idiotic Carolyn Staley, had as many as 100,000 voters not updated in the county computer system. Wrong ballots had been sent, today people voting for the wrong people in the wrong precints, etc. You get the picture.
As of about 5 days ago over 40,000 people still had not been accounted for in the computer system system. We have roughly 235,000 voters in this county. No other county in the state having any problems like this. If Hutchinson pulls this out it will be because of massive voting problems and scewups right here in Pulaski County. So the fact then Dems are filing for an injuction is no surprise, look for lots of votes here to be thrown out and/or contested. it is going to be ugly here.

I have been working in absentee ballots in Pulaski County. The #$^* is hitting the fan towards the end of the day. There was a Rat operative who came storming in around 6:30 hollering that one predominantly black Rat precinct was out of challenged ballot envelopes and those who were challenged were turned away from voting so they were claiming that the Republicans started challenging EVERY black voter. A ballot is not challenged without a legitimate reason.

Count on LOTS more trouble in Arkansas, predominantly from Pulaski and Jefferson Counties.

Doesn't this mean the MN election may be thrown out by federal court?

Time for civil disobedience. Local pubbies should get in the lines, and then (if they got in line after 7:00 PM) should SIT DOWN and block the doorway of the polling place when they get to the front of the line.

"Rule of Law" don't mean nuthin to these liberal judges Dog.

I pray to God that Bush can appoint a whole trainload with a couple super-tankers thown in of good, righteous, strict-constructionist, conservative judges everywhere there is an open seat and some that I think need replacing.
