Sobering post. I have to say though that the world of Forensics has changed dramatically since the 60-80's.

This guy is a terrorist in my mind. Just read Bill Gertz's latest book where he talks about the Terrorist cell in PG county, MD.

They recently busted 8 terrorist in Oregan practicing target practice. Why I wonder? It is painfully obvious to anyone with a simple concept of terrorists and how they work that we are under Terrorist attack. Internment camps? No. Deporting all those Republican Guard and Iraqi regulars who were relocated to OK city and other cities after the Gulf war? Yes. Boot out Illegal overstaying islamic students. Sure. They are here illegally. Same thing with the Irish, Germans and other students here beyond their legal welcome.

I think that I may have run into one of these (either that or I am just paranoid). My friend's neice married an Algerian Muslim (strict, fundamentalist) in Hawaii. He talked her into moving to Seattle where she got a job and supported them. He hung out with other Algerian Muslims and started to mistreat her and finally a year later, they were divorced. One of the terrorist cells in Seattle is said to be Algerian.

That is very standard procedure for the terrorists. You will find them also posting messages to desperate women on dating websites. They'll get handsome yound arab men who are students on Visa's to date american women of any size, age, race. As long as they are american citizens and the more desperate the better. They charm them with their culture and interesting views on life. Then after the waiting period he hits her and they get divorced. She get's on with her life and he is now a US citizen on a mission to kill americans.

This happens to men as well. If you have TS clearence you have to report who you are dating and any contact with foreign nationals. It's an old racket. Get a beautifal Russion woman to marry a math nerd that just happens to work for the big N and they are in.

You should get more information about your Friends niece and report it to the FBI. They are cracking down on this scam more and more. You could break a cell up with that kind of information.

No it hasn't at street level. Washington was infested with on-street spy cameras even before 9/11 - and these two have made a mockery of them!

. But intense public attention on the case increases the chance someone will notice something suspicious that proves to be a vital tip.

What exactly is the public supposed tp be looking for? With every press conference, we get less and less information, and things that were released in prior press conferences are later claimed to be false.

I understand the need for playing some clues/info close to the vest. But lets face it, the public at large is the one that will solve this case. Someone will notice something and make a connection. But you have to be aware of what you should be looking for.

I know a woman who had the same thing happen to her. Only in her case, they adopted a beautiful little girl, and now the lousy loser is trying along with his rich Muslim family all they can to get custody of the child so she can raised in their culture. The child is white btw.

Yes, some get married, get their green card, and the woman never hears from them again. That happened to a friend of my sister, the marriage happened, he took his new papers and left the state. She had a difficult time also getting a divorce because she had no idea where he was or even who he really was.

I know what you are saying, a friend of my daugher (in Houston) is dating a Pakistani who came to this country via Saudi Arabia. He is much younger than she and a grad student (supposedly), but he has isolated her from all her friends who have been trying to warn her.
