October 17, 2002 -- The sniper-style execution of a woman in southern New Jersey nine months ago is being investigated for a possible link to the D.C.-area killings.

Vineland cops said the tattooed ex-boyfriend of Tina Labriola, 35, shot her in the chest with a .243 caliber bolt-action hunting rifle as she stood outside a friend's house Jan. 10.

So between Jan and Oct he was busy washing dishes, and then all of a sudden decided, hey! what the heck, guess I'll go shoot a bunch of people I don't know. Not likely!
