Tonight at 8:00 p.m. at the Warner Theatre, former President Clinton and Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe will host the DNC's "Every Vote Counts" fundraiser, which is expected to raise at least $4 million toward DNC efforts to, as they like to say, "protect voters' rights" on election day.
Entertainment includes performances by James Taylor, Janet Jackson, Don Henley, John Mellencamp and others, as well as a showing of Spike Lee's "We Wuz Robbed." The former President and McAuliffe, among others, will speak; speeches currently are scheduled for after the concert. Hillary also slated to attend.

Using nothing but interviews with Gore campaign honchos, shot in grainy black and white (and mostly with an American flag backdrop) and put together with the pace and precision of an MTV video, Lee's film roars ahead with the power and purposefulness of a locomotive.
Its single message: George W. Bush stole the election in Florida. By the end of it, you've forgotten everything else, not just the Gore campaign's own attempts to manipulate the count, but even that 50 million Americans actually voted for Bush. If Leni Riefenstahl had made campaign TV spots, they would have looked like this.

The beauty of the Torricell/Lautenberg debacle is that if the Lout wins, no Dem can say squat about Bush's legitimacy without a finger pointing towards NJ. The Lout is more illegitimate than they ever try to paint Bush, and the outright stupidity and illiteracy of the Dem voter in FL was showcased in the last Dem primary. Ask Janet Reno! Little Spikey is barking up the wrong tree.
Maybe someone could make a counterpoint film titled (in Spike's Ebonics of course): U wuzn't robbed, u lost becuz u is so damn stupid!

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody . There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody Could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
