"What happened to separation of church and state, which Democrats usually insist on?" asked a Bethesda woman, who called Mr. McDermott's Capitol Hill office Tuesday and was shocked to find out that a "private religious group" helped pay for the congressmen's trip. Goes to show how some dem's tote 2 faces. Both of them with $$ tatoo's on them.

In the face of recent threats against Iraq, Voices in the Wilderness has initiated an Iraq Peace Team plan. The
announcement envisions sending seasoned nonviolent activists to take up residence in Iraq, before and during a US attack, should such an assault occur. The Government of Iraq has agreed to the proposal in principle. It remains for us to now undertake numerous tasks needed to make this plan a reality, if needed, while at the same time working to prevent a US attack. If you are interested in joining IPT in Iraq, please visit the Join page and fill out the application.
On this website, you will find regularly updated analysis and reports regarding relations between Iraq and the United States. You will also find updates about national anti-war organizing news and strategies.
In the event of a US attack, this website will become a multimedia resource site for news from the team on the ground in Iraq as well as well as a clearinghouse for anti-war news and strategies here at home.
Please check in often and get involved in whatever way you can. Your voice is needed to say No! to a US attack on Iraq.

From checking up on Mr. Mohammed Alomari, he is convinced that the entire Bush administration is made up of Joooooos. Jewishness to him is anyone with a name sounding remotely Jewish, anyone who met a Jew once, or anyone who ever ate something Kosher.
Alomari also belongs to a group called FAAIR. He's 100% Iraq all the way. Here's his other organization:

I'll say one thing for Alomari, he can spout Reform Party material with the best of 'em... but I think he has a ghost writer in Iraq turn out the books for him:
From another pro-Iraq group's newsgroup forum, this one out of the UK:
Dear list,
I have been sent 88 copies of a short book written by Mohammed Alomari of the US organisation FFAIR (Focus on American and Arab Interests and Relations), to distribute in the UK.
Title: "The Blockade & Destruction of Iraq: crimes against humanity"
Author: Mohammed Alomari
Format: Paperback, 116pp.
ISBN: 0967355915
Publisher: Azimuth Systems
Pub. Date: March 2002

I don't have the time now to look through my notes, but IIRC, Alomari has been described as one of terrorism's bagmen. Don't quote me on that yet; but if I find it in my notes, I'll post it here.

Hey, look, McDermott and Bonior's buddy Alomari is on
Radio Salam too, and he even wrote a nifty piece on Cuba...

Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott, Mississippi Republican, said the congressmen "should come home," after Mr. McDermott challenged the administration's attempts to link Iraq to the al Qaeda terrorist network and suggested Mr. Bush would lie to bring about military conflict.
Come home and be hanged for treason, yes.
Bush lies to us. Trust Saddam Husein. Indeed.

I think one og the hijackers was even named Alomari...
This particular Alomari, appears to be an Iraqi immigrant, probably been here since at least September 26, 2000, when he posted a link to the "6th Iraqi emigrants Conference" web site. Maybe he came here way before...
He appears to have something to do with the following web site since he has a mail account in the same domain name; guess I can check and see who owns it but it sounds like it's his. You will mind many of the tinfoil theories also associated with non-muslim so-called antiwar groups :

Change the spelling of his first name by one letter and I got this, although it's entirely possible the two aren't related :
"Criteria for blood smear review" Gene L. Gulati, Mohammad Alomari, William Kocher and Roland Schwarting [May 2002] posted on CEupdates.html

Check out the other name for Alomari's associate in the thread's main article, which is spelled like this:
Muthanna Al-Hancoli
In all the press releases I found looking up Alomari, his associate's name was spelled :
Muthana Al Hanooti.
Wonder how many fake IDs these folks have?
