Thanks for the info ping. : )

Fleetweek ping! : )

WSG, regarding meeting, need some specifics...date and time...

Fleetweek is a great opportunity to get the word out about FR and/or October 26, imo.

Hey AP,

I don't think I'm going to be able to make any of the Fleet Week events, because I'm working. But I wouldn't mind being in on the plans (date, time?) just in case. I'm still trying to put together the details for the October 26th counter-freep, so if you all make any plans, please ping me too.

Thanks!

AP,
I remember this being discussed on the "World's Largest Flag" thread. There were several FReepers there, myself included, but I managed to only meet two other FReepers. I plan on being in SF for the airshow both days. (Gonna try and get front&center for the Blue Angles and not watch them from my car, stuck in traffic, again!) Maybe someone came propose a convenient meeting time and place. We have a few weeks left, lets see how this thread materalizes before we finalize a vast FReep Meet.

Regards,
~Stu

You wanted the link to the orginal article by Paul Johnson.
Paul Johnson's Article in Human Events issues of either Oct. 14 or 7. I tried to look for it on their online edition but could not find it, they don't provide the complete content of their printed edition . I must have discarded my print copy after I read it. Sorry about it. His column is also published every 3rd issue-it is rotated between Enest Zedillo, Lee Kew Yuan and Paul Johnson. I searched in his column on Forbes magazine on line but the reference was not in those columns so I am pretty sure it was in Human Events.
