ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Maryland (AP) -- A lieutenant colonel at the Army War College pleaded guilty Monday to killing his wife, saying he beat and strangled her as they fought about his use of the Internet to find pornography.

Lt. Col. David Bartlett Jr., 46, reached a plea deal with prosecutors in the slaying of his 39-year-old wife, Suzanne.

I would say porn didn't do it but it was the straw that broke the camel's back. There were problems here before his wife objected to the husband looking at porn. Porn was the result of a bad marriage, not to mention the murder.

Sounds like he has a psychotic, violent temper. Porn was the issue in this case, but it sounds like it could have been anything that could set him off in this way.

At the same time, porn is a bad idea.
