WASHINGTON (AP) -- The FBI and CIA are searching for a Sudanese air force pilot who reportedly has entered Canada and plans to hijack an airliner and fly it into the White House, it was reported Friday.
Citing unnamed intelligence sources, The Washington Times said the pilot was trained in Afghanistan and is linked to Osama bin Laden's al Qaida terrorist network.
Authorities know the name of the pilot, who is said to have entered Canada last week, but declined to disclose it, the Times reported. It said that Canadian authorities had no record of the man entering the country.
Spokesmen for the CIA and FBI declined to comment.
Officials believe the White House and the Capitol were potential targets on Sept. 11 when terrorists flew jetliners into New York's World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Bin Laden was based in Sudan until 1996, when he was expelled from the country and moved his terrorist training operation to Afghanistan, where he was welcomed by the Taliban.
Al-Qaida reportedly is decentralizing its leadership, and as many as 60 cells are said to have the authority to conduct terror attacks.

"It said that Canadian authorities had no record of the man entering the country." No need to look there, huh?

Canadian authorities had no record of the man entering the country. Which is why terrorists are so fond of Canada as a transit point to the US.

So, now we see the military nature of at least some of these ops. Nation states must be held accountable for any and all so called "terrorism" (correct terminology, assymetrical military assault).

The FBI and CIA are searching for a Sudanese air force pilot who reportedly has entered Canada and plans to hijack an airliner and fly it into the White House . . . . Sudan has an air force?

1. Very open immigration policy. People can land at a Canadian airport WITHOUT PAPERS
and generally be granted something like asylum, as well as housing and welfare.
(This was reported for the guy who planned to bomb LAX.)
2. Ease of entry into the USA, long border with some very isolated checkpoints, especially
in the middle part of the country.

Canada has turned into "Canuckistan."

That is one of the reasons I moved away from Canada. It is true that any whacked out nut job can get into Canada, the other way they get into Canada is to send their wife and kids to Canada first. The wife and kids establish residency as refugees then they can sponsor the father to get into the country. It seems quite crazy, but what do you expect from a Country that is run be a feeble minded old fart !
