Yes it has been established that they were indeed speaking English. The newsman on FoxNews asked the same question. I will attempt to give you an answer. The Moslem religion is made up of people from many nations. Some speak Arabic, while others obviously speak their native tongues. Therefore if you are from Afghanistan you may speak Tajik or Pushtun or Uzbek. From Iran you may speak Farsi (Persian). However these people nearly all speak English in one form or another, so it follows that when a Moslem from Saudi Arabia meets a Moslem from Iran, their only form of communication is more than likely English.

Yes, thank you. I posted that before I read the article that made it quite obvious they were speaking English. I figured if the two people spoke different languages that probably the only way they could communicate would be in English.
