Maybe knowing we were on orange alert made the waitress more alert than normal? Furether, all that TV coverage of the 9-11 anniversary UNDOUBTEDLY made her more alert.

I entirely agree. God bless this woman! Is it just me that believes the media should not have given so much information about how this information was obtained? It alerts the terrorists that their conversations really are being monitored, thus they will be advised to be yet more careful what they say and the language in which they speak it. This waitress can easily be identified, as can the restaurant, and targeted by fellow terrorists who wish to send Americans a message about "collaborators." While it's wonderful knowing that being alert has enormous pay offs, I would have preferred less detailed info for her sake.
