I have been a fan of Letterman since I was a student at Purdue and he was a stinking nobody weatherman in Indiana... he did a wonderful job of gathering the sense of the country one year ago when he first came back after the attack....I am so upset with CBS and him tonight... what an enabeler... DAMN HIM!

The toon's self-pity and boasting will be impossible to watch. Thankfully, I won't be watching.

As Howlin said on another thread, Clinton probably called up and begged them to have him on his show. It was the only way he could be a part of 9/11 as he hadn't been invited to any of the other events.

Clinton just couldn't stand not being on TV today. According to Clinton, its all about "me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me."

,,, he's not "Pres." Clinton anymore.

Maybe the top ten list will be "Top ten reasons why Clinton is the cause of the 9/11 attack"? Maybe I'll win the lottery and have a mixed singles "match" with Anna Kournikova while I'm fantasizing.

Plus ... he's still trying to spin the fact that he is primarily responsible for the attack - because of his monkey business, instead of taking care of the nation's business. And ... if I do recall, x42 constantly said "I have to get back to the nation's business". What a liar!!

Letterman can be pretty entertaining but he is just as bad as all the rest of the leftist media.
I have turned off his show more than once in disgust. He is nearly as bad as Leno, who also can be funny.

Why can't you enjoy the spectacle (sp, those are glasses)?
They're both irrelevant.

Why are you surprised? The world of media and so called Stars is one that is in solidarity with liberals and RATS and Socialists. The real surprise would be if he had invited say, Rummy to appear, or Newt!

As I was traveling in my car today, listening to the radio - the radio host was talking with James St. James - some Hollywood reporter. St. James said that he really felt that when Letterman came back to his show a few days after 9/11 - (remember - with Dan Rather?) - and he said that it was hard for him to come back. Then - he was able to laugh a little bit. Well - according to St. James - it was when Letterman came back and told us that it was ok to laugh again - we all felt better and we began to realize that we could laugh again, too.
Why do I need Letterman to tell me when or when NOT to laugh again. Peronally - I do not like Letterman at all.
Oh well...

My disgust of that sorry piece of garbage has convinced me to finally come in from the shadows and stop just lurking. I post on another message board often, where liberals are allowed and tolerated, and they always accuse me and others of being obsessed with Clinton such that we won't quit talking about him (most recently when I posted an article about the grand jury discovering that Clinton's fundraiser meeting at the airport with a Marc Rich representative prior to the pardon being issued). The truth is, I would pay a dear price to be rid of the national embarrassment of our former President - will he NEVER go away? It outrages me that he still searches for the spoltlihgt, then uses it for outrageous lies like "Many in my administration accused me of being obsessd with Bin Laden." I already boycott CBS - because of The Dan, who has lost his lead as most contemptuous journalist only because Peter Jennings seems determined to squash all opposition - but I did like Letterman. Sorry I won't get to see him anymore.

Why do I need Letterman to tell me when or when NOT to laugh again. I've heard people laugh when they light up the LAUGH sign. I'm not a big TV person, though I watch him on occasion, so I probably don't know. I laugh when things are funny.
I liked his mom and the guy in the motorhome, also the guy at the deli. If it was pay for performance, Letterman wouldn't like me.

Because every other man or woman of substance said "No Thanks"!
There, that's better.
