Prior Knowledge of Sept. 11 Not Just Urban Legend Posted Sept. 10, 2002

"What are you looking at?" asked the schoolteacher as she approached one of her freshman students. The boy, a young Palestinian, seemed captivated as he stared out the window across Brooklyn toward the lower downtown area of Manhattan.

"Do you see those two buildings?" he asked while pointing toward the World Trade Center. "They won't be standing there next week." It was noon, Sept. 6, 2001.

Yikes!

From the article:

I don't have the resources to continue an ongoing investigation into who had prior knowledge of the attacks — but I am sure someone out there does. Many things have happened since I broke my first story. On Nov. 9, 2001, my sources informed me that the same boy who predicted the attacks told school officials there would be a plane crash on Nov. 12. I decided to inform an FBI agent I knew who told me that without specific information, there was little they could do.

Once again, the boy's prophecy came true.

Three minutes after American Airlines Flight 587 took off from JFK International Airport to the Dominican Republic, both its engines fell from its wings, dooming the plane to crash in Belle Harbor, located in the Rockaway section of Queens. Of the 260 people aboard, there were no survivors. To date, authorities suspect the crash was an accident. I'm not so sure.

Recently I learned the investigation into the New Utrecht incident had been closed because authorities were "unable to obtain any further viable information that would explain what really happened." School sources tell me DiLorenzo has "stood firm" on her account of the boy's comments.

There's a story out there — and it needs to be covered.

I can understand why no one wanted to touch this after it had been well and truly confirmed. Just because Muslims in New York knew about this too many people would assume that all other Muslims in the country knew about it and that they all agreed with it. That could have been very bad for this country. Though some undoubtedly are guilty, we don't need another American concentration camp.

This is simply the most amazing story I've seen in the last year, it's almost too incredible to believe. What I'd like to know is if this kid and his family are still in the country, and if so, why the hell haven't they been kicked out?

I don't know much about this Jeffry Scott Shapiro guy, but here's another story from Newsweek's Jonathan Alter (hardly a right-winger conspiratorial type) basically verifying what Shapiro is saying at:

"I was able to confirm it last October while working as a crime reporter for the Journal News, a New York-based Gannett newspaper."

This argues against it being the same Jeff Schapiro, becuz last October, the RTD's JS had his nose stuck sooo deep up DemonRAT Gubernatorial candidate Mark Warner's bunghole that I doubt he'd have found time to tour NYC lookin' fer another gig. Still, I'd like confirmation, 'cuz if Insight's lowered themselves to hiring the Jeff Schapiro I know, they are no longer worthy of the respect I hold for them after reading them since the late-80's!!

I have an interesting footnote: On the morning of 9-11, my wife and I were at a campground in Oklahoma. Some campers across the way called our attention to the horrific events they were viewing on TV : planes crashing, etc., and we all sat around watching with alarm and horror.

About an hour later, one of the campers left to buy gasoline. At this time, no identification of suspected terrorists had been made.

The man back-furious, because then gas station ( operated like most in many regions of the US by Middle Eastern men ) had jacked the price up by $ 2.00 per gallon ! The operator's only explanation was that there was going to be a fuel shortage.

All over Oklahoma, prices shot up ( typically by $ 1.00 per gallon ) almost instantaneously.Clearly, these operators were in very close communication with somebody very knowledgeable !

I still feel a bit uneasy over the sheer number of Middle Eastern men running gasoline stations-all sited along heavily travelled routes-across so much of this country. What could they do with that gas ? What couldn't they do ???

Maybe I was unclear...Schapiro is an EXTREME Leftist who would probably agree with everything that scumbag Socialist Alter believes...that's not verification in my book!!

Hmm. Suicidal terrorists today tend to be Middle Eastern, and only an idiot could miss that a war was coming--the only question was WHEN it would come. That's all the impetus needed for a price spike. Most of the gas stations around Washington, DC did the same thing, and they're owned by a polyglot mix of Hindus, Arabs, blacks, Hispanics, and whites.

And notice that prices dropped back to normal by the weekend--again, the market at work.

All over Oklahoma, prices shot up ( typically by $ 1.00 per gallon ) almost instantaneously.Clearly, these operators were in very close communication with somebody very knowledgeable !

It might help if you read Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations. They were in communication--receive only--with CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, et cetera, and they made pricing decisions based on the news they were getting. It's a classic example of Smith's "invisible hand."

Please do not turn your ignorance of economics into a conspiracy.

I still feel a bit uneasy over the sheer number of Middle Eastern men running gasoline stations-all sited along heavily travelled routes-across so much of this country. What could they do with that gas ?

Sell it at a price the market will bear.

What couldn't they do ???

Eat it or drink it.

What an astounding article! I believe the details about the forewarning of the November plane crash are new (though sadly not very surprising).

Clearly we have residents of our country who aren't very loyal. I think the government should track down everyone who had prior knowledge of these attacks and throw them in prison for three years and then , if they're not citizens, deport them.

Although the terrorist attacks hadn't occured when these people were forewarned of the attacks, a conspiracy to commit murder had already been formed (and thus a felony had been committed) and the US Code states defines the crime of misprision of a felony as:

"Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."
