I hope I did this correctly. I've never posted a picture before.

I love this shot, it's a reproduction of Henry Hudson's ship the "Half Moon" sailing past the WTC on September 10, 2001.

hard to show since the tags <> would be hidden. But if you replace <> with () maybe this makes sense:

) equals >

( equals <

(img src="http://www.sailingacross.com/images/hmwtc.jpg"(/A)

No, Tourist Guy wasn't there. If you look at the ship closely you'll see he is tied to the mast. (Not!)

Saw this on the images link posted the other day. Didn't notice the date in the upper right till just before I clicked past it. Pretty amazing. Hard to believe for those of us that drove past it on 9/11 on the way to work, at 8:35 or so. I remember thinking that morning how gorgeous the view was and how clearly you could see every little detail of those buildings from afar. It was an incredibly beautiful day that day...until..

When I saw this picture I thought that perhaps some of the WTC workers looked out of their windows and really enjoyed this symbol of exploration and enterprise sailing past them. I hope it made them smile.
