These leftist terrorists are up to their old tricks. I think Bush should say that at a time of war this is unacceptable and bring in the police to preventt hese communists from doing anything.

If you read the article you will find that many of them are anti-war and pro-Palestinian. They are trying to weaken America's war effort and that should still be a crime.

I don't think anti-American protestors are going to weaken anything except the causes they associate with. This is a 50 or 100 year war. I have no idea when it will end, but I was shocked by the sudden and relatively peaceful demise of the Soviet Union. I remember telling my family, when the Berlin Wall came down, that the next great war would be over the middle east.
But it will eventually end. While some people might want to live the life of a Muslim prince, no one wants to live the life of a Muslim commoner. Pepsi and Levis will overcome. The nutcases do have it right. They are headed for extinction.

Interesting choice of words. How exactly do people who don't work for a living go on strike? (Yes, I know what they mean.)

I agree with your last statement for sure. They're not against the IMF and WTO: They just want those entities to give more $ and forgive more debt and generally be anti-capitalist.

Um, it's not my intention to hijack a thread, but what better place than here to ask:
PETA has put that stupid elephant right in my Dupont Circle neighborhood -- you know, the elephant painted with tears that they filed a lawsuit to get placed there to protest in favor of animal rights.
I'm seriously thinking I'd go out one evening with a sign saying "Vegetables Have Right Too" and wonder whether any of my DC Freepers have other sign ideas.
