Scott Ritter just said on CNN "Iraq did not kick the UN inspectors out in 1998"
Posted on 09/07/2002 3:11:01 PM PDT by newsperson999
He said the UN pulled them out ahead of US airtrikes in Desert Fox...also said US used the UN inspectors to gather information for military action...Said he is against Bush's policy and he will address the Iraq assembly tomorrow...

How could anyone take Ritter serious. He was bought and
paid for by saddam like a sack of potatoes.

In my opinion, Scott Ritter seems to have a problem of sorts that we have not been able to put our finger on, yet.

CNN babe just pointed out the NYT's report about how IRAQ buying small parts for nuclear material..said NYT'm is wrong...but he said earlier that he hasn't had any intel since 1998..the guy is a joke
To: mhking
I'm watching the same show as you and I can't figure out who bought this guy. The demonRATS or saddam. What is his major malfunction?
To: newsperson999
Ritter is a nutjob. A dangerous nutjob to boot, since he has some kind of volcanic grievance burning inside him, and plenty of energy and leadership skills to pursue those he perceives as his oppressors.

If this could possibly be true, wouldn't this have taken place during the Clinton administration?

Good. Now that he has both
100% proven himself to be a liar and also a very close friend of Iraq's, the final shred of his credibility has been torn off. We now have all the ammunition we need to totally dismiss him anytime he mouths off on anything.
By the way, isn't it illegal for American citizens to attempt to involve themselves in foreign diplomacy without express permission of the government? Why shouldn't this scumbag be arrested the moment he steps off the plane back home?
(Assuming he doesn't apply for asylum in Baghdad.)

A dangerous nutjob to boot, since he has some kind of volcanic grievance burning inside him, I agree. As near as I can figure out from his interviews a few years ago, he has bought the idea that the US is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children due to the sanctions, and is ashamed for taking part. Having internalized the guilt for those deaths, he is now doing whatever he can to undermine our policy there.

In my opinion, Scott Ritter seems to have a problem of sorts that we have not been able to put our finger on, yet. He's either an intelligence agent for the US playing a game or he's been paid off by Iraq.

Oh, if you you think that was bad, Crusty, wait until you run for the job. You won't make it past New Hampshire with so many millions of people doing everything in their power to cause you to lose.
