Wonder if he is gonna join OJ on the nation's golf courses in the quest for the "real" killer?

"Blake says he is in "infantry mode"
reminds me of BLAKE's role in PORK CHOP HILL, starring GREGORY PECK-a great film.

Yet another Hollyweird Liberal who thinks that he's above the law. Let him rot.

Blake told King he was in "infantry mode" and that, despite facing murder and conspiracy charges, "My glass is three-quarters full." That's easy enough to fix. Glug-glug-glug!

Actually, the one in which he played a motorcycle cop who solved a gunshot murder may actually be related to the case, and may crop up in the prosecution's arguments. We shall see....
Doesn't look like Officer Johnny Wintergreen is going to get the cigar, suit and snubnosed Detective's Special in this episode, though....

...the 68-year-old actor -- his hair now gray -- said he has faced worse conditions on location and in some of his dressing rooms during his decades-long Hollywood career. That is hilarious. I hope he is innocent, I really do.

a longshot, I suppose. Do actors know the difference between reality and fantasy? I mean, to be a good actor, you really have to believe the story, right?
I saw him on Johnny Carson a long time ago. I remember how he put some feminist guest in her place, breaking the little love-fest mood of the show. It would suck if he was guilty.

"Blake also characterized speculation about his bodyguard, Earle Caldwell, charged as a conspirator in the murder, as "crap." Blake has hired an attorney for Caldwell and posted his $1 million bail. He said Caldwell is being pressured to implicate him unjustly in the killing." Whoa nellie.
So Blake stays in jail, springs his bodyguard and catchs his lawyer fees.
Does this not seem odd, or I am just getting old and jaded?

I'm thinking Blake is an old man now. He may die at home or he may die in prison, but he won't see his daughter reach adulthood. Paying Caldwell's expenses makes a lot of sense for several reasons, not the least of which is that it keeps Caldwell in line. (Although if Caldwell were going to bail, he probably would have done so by now.)
If there's any satisfaction for Blake in this story, it must be that his daughter will be raised by his own family rather than her mother's. That's my take.

In all his appearances on the Johnny Carson 'Tonight' Show, I saw this guy as one who spoke from the gut on whatever the subject, and I appreciated his 'from the gut' raw honesty. I remember looking to the Carson line-up, and especially watching the program if Blake was a guest.
I'm only glad I didn't have to walk in his shoes.

Hey Robert! We haven't crossed paths for a while! How ya been?
Yeah. Blake was a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy. I remember his 70's activism and while I didn't agree with his politics, there was no phoniness about him. I can respect that.

Blake you do realize that you are white don't you. You will never get out of jail alive and rightfully so since you killed your wife.
