The basic problem seems to be Muslims rarely, if ever, take their Muslim brothers to task for transgressions against non-Muslims.
I will become tolerant of Muslims when there are churches and synagogues in Mecca, Medina, Riyahd, Teheran, Damascus, and similar locales, and the locals aren't randomly rioting, burning them down, suicide bombing them, and attacking the attendees.
gotta agree.I'm perfectly willing to stand guard if there were attacks against mosgues in houston-I don't care if you're jew/buddhist/hindu etc.- if someone's targeting you, I'll step up to the plate. I don't see as much of this as I would like from the the moslem side. Or for, that matter, from any other major religions- Can't recall reading about hindus coming to the aid of their moslem countryment in India, for example.
I think the atheist types go too far when they try to elinate "under God" from the pledge of allegiance- but I do think it is morally correct to insist that folks are left alone to worship as they see fit. If they (or for that matter *we*) are incorrect, God will take care of it in the end.
