In a stunning blow to abortion rights activists, President Bush signed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act into law today, which protects the lives of all children born alive, even those who may survive an abortion. Earlier in the day, Bush stopped in Pennsylvania to greet the nine miners who were trapped 240 feet below the surface after accidentally breaking into an older mine shaft. Following the theme of the day, Bush emphasized that "this great society of ours can be changed one heart, one soul, one conscience at a time." Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: The Born Alive Infants Protection Act establishes a principle in America law and American conscience: there is no right to destroy a child who has been born alive. A child who is born has intrinsic worth and must have the full protection of our laws.

Haven't said thank you lately, rintense, for all you do!
What FANTASTIC news today. The lives of those nine miners really did matter, and the life of every little baby really does matter. Thank you, President Bush, for your unmitigated stance on life!

The guy in the white hat could be a "bush babe". He has that same smile of pride when he looks at GW. Unlike the last 8 years, I now love to listen to our PRESIDENT speak, no matter what the subject. So thrilled he has the sense to know a baby born alive is a person!
Thanks for the ping.
