In a stunning blow to abortion rights activists, President Bush signed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act into law today, which protects the lives of all children born alive, even those who may survive an abortion. Earlier in the day, Bush stopped in Pennsylvania to greet the nine miners who were trapped 240 feet below the surface after accidentally breaking into an older mine shaft.
