How nice it is to have a president who is not always doing something to embarrass us!

There was some speculation around here a day or so ago that the reason we haven't yet seen an indictment against Ken Lay is because he is cooperating and helping the DOJ build a case against people just like Rubin & McCauliffe, etc.

You know the DOJ & the entire Bush Admin. has seen the info on Rubin's complicity in trying to prop up Enron's credit rating. And McCauliffe's 18 million in profits from the Global Crossing deal.

Now there's an article out re Enron & the telecoms and some exchange of assets that were booked as revenues.

It'll be interesting to see it all unfold.

Yes, I think that you should pass a basic political comprehension test before being allowed to participate in a poll.

I think that idea should be extended to voting.

Arresting crooks does not demean the thousands of hardworking honorable corporate leaders! Pretending there aren't bad guys is just a joke. We all KNOW how we got into this mess and it surely isn't President Bush's fault as we hear from billhillgoreLIEbermandaschle

I just don't understand these stupid polls...one week he's down, next week he's back up...come on, folks, either you like his general principles or you don't. Is there no one out there left with any brains?

Personally, I like GWB cause he's cute!

Can you point me in the direction of the Supreme Court ruling you're talking about regarding home inspections without a warrant? I'm thinking that would be good information to have. Thanks in advance.

His "selective" war on Terrorism is absolutly disgusting.

Yet the people in Afghanistan are appreciative of our Arse-kicking the Taliban
and Al-Qaeda!

I support his War effort against Terrorism........

>>Front page stuff for the NYT, eh?

Now that gave me a chuckle !!!

The front page of the NYT is reserved for editorial discussions of problems with free activities (not yet under the control of the federal government) and trumpeting exisitng programs.

Don't ya love the "Don't Know" crowd in these polls? Guess they could care less either way no matter who is President.

I hope, I hope! That would cause me to pull my special dancing shoes from closet and do my happy dance!

The only reason the Presidential support dipped in any polls was because the Democrats began negative advertising for the fall elections.

The have jumped ship, hurting the United stand against the war effort.

However, the task ahead for the President remains unweathered!

Isn't that funny. I'm not on FR over the weekend, so the only way I find out about these positive poll numbers is to dig around the recent archives. I'm sure the evening news broadcasts simply overlooked it. ;-)
