European Left Retreats as Islamic Immigration Grows

The world is currently watching how the fear of growing crime and illegal immigration, combined with voter apathy, are sapping the political power of the leftist parties that have dominated European politics for the past half-century.

The recent rise of nationalism in almost all the Western European countries is one of the clear indications of a major shift to the right in a string of European nations.

Leftist, socialist-oriented governments have held sway over much of Europe since the end of World War II. Of the forces now gathering to erode their strength, not the least is immigration, both legal and illegal, along with thousands of asylum seekers and the rise in crime that many believe to be its consequence.

The closely related issue centers on the European continent's Muslim population, which has doubled in the last 10 years, from 8 million to 16 million, along with an influx of hundreds of thousands of immigrants from Eastern Europe, including the former Soviet republics.

As Roman Catholic Cardinal Giacomo Biffi of Bologna, Italy, said recently, Europe is degenerating into a "culture of nothing, which would be unable to drive back the ideological assault of Islam."

Leftist European governments, whose leaders built their popularity on the votes of immigrants, combined with voter apathy, cannot change their traditional pro-immigration principles and can find no other answer to critics of their policies but to label their opponents as "racists" and "fascists."

In Austria, for instance, this ploy was used against Joerg Haider, who was called a "fascist" by his opponents because he strongly opposed illegal immigration into his country and once described employment policies in Nazi Germany prior to WW II as "orderly."

Later he changed his mind and recently said he intends to run for the leadership of his nation next year. Mr. Haider's populist Freedom Party, which already is in a coalition with Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel's ruling Conservative Party, has said it would stop all immigration, regardless of country of origin.

In Italy, the National Alliance, a member of the coalition government of the nation's conservative prime minister, media magnate Silvio Berlusconi, finished third with 12 percent in last year's national elections. Mr. Berlusconi himself was labeled a "nationalist" during his election campaign, perhaps because he is a big fan of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

And in Germany, the "Third Way" administration of Gerhardt Schroeder is facing a tough challenge from the center-right in national elections later this year. In Denmark, the free-market Venstre (Liberal) Party gained power on a platform of proposing strong curbs on immigration.

In Switzerland, Christophe Blocher of the right-wing People's Party won 23 percent of the vote on a similar platform. In the Netherlands, long noted for its liberal tendencies on issues from drugs to sex, the colorful and controversial Pim Fortuyn, murdered last May, also based his campaign on an anti-immigration platform and criticized Islam as a "backward culture."

Of course, these problems are European and have to be resolved by European nations. However, Europeans are not alone and are in company with others facing the exact same issues. America's continuing importation of massive numbers of poor, uneducated, welfare-oriented and dependant immigrants from Third World nations very soon will add political pressure to the social life of this country.

If this situation materializes in the near future in the U.S., politicians will squeeze the incomes of those Americans who hold the shrinking supply of productive jobs that have not yet moved offshore.

In other words, we could soon have the same problems that Europeans are currently having, and up until now those politicians who rely on the votes of immigrants do not have any idea how to handle the issue.

They can't build up their own country and can only destroy others.

Great pithy summation of my feeling for about 95% of the world of Islam.

Turkey seems to be about the only bright light of that whole culture.

Great pithy summation of my feeling for about 95% of the world of Islam.
Turkey seems to be about the only bright light of that whole culture.

Turkey is facing a political situation of a similar kind that Iran did prior to the islamic revolution. Growing islamic sentiments and an army putting it down. The Kurdish question complicates it even more with accusations of human rights violations and for Turkey to have any possibility to apply for EU membership; they must end military interference of political institutions.
EU is mainly discussing those issues when membership discussions arise. If the military is forced to abandon it's role as a grantor of a secular state, the road might be open for the islamists who earlier had a party banned. This might again present a threat to southeast Europe, weakened by "democratisation" and the "humanitarian" intervention against Yugoslavia. It would also present a threat to other European countries in the vicinity.

Now the EU doesn't want Turkey in since it's not a European country, neither the people nor the culture. The former German chancellor Kohl also expressed this view in a statement.
Still if Turkey entered they'd flood the whole peninsula, both with Turks and other middleastern illegals. It's like issuing green cards to all Mexicans.
Also worth mentioning is that their population census is underestimated and inaccurate. Some people like the multicultural-racist-islamist-homosexual-feminist-environmentalist-socialists are probably in great favor of this development and cheer so they again can use islam like a sledgehammer against European Christian civilisation and culture, but the vast majority would be resentful towards the unleashed menace. The question remains however if they could do anything about it. Most probably the situation could evolve into some kind of a low intensive urban civil war. A weak central state EU, in between of European Patriots against islamists and their auxiliaries.
If already in the muslims could quietly drop their Demographic bomb, breed with European women and those who decline should be raped, keeping their own aside from the "market" for population increase purposes. They would then like the previously mentioned group, multic-....-alists, ridicule the original culture for establishment of their own through what the Turks used to call kru kru. Abortions in this context are as lethal as the plague. Together with sexually transferred disease that hamper birth rates and sex slavery with young girls, then presents demographic warfare at it's finest.

Serbian knowledge of this makes them a far tougher adversary than most other meek European nations, so the muslims and their allies could not rampage unpunished. Realizing this they had to make influence of the "humanitarian" card in their quest to Turkeyfie the region.
There is an excellent German historian by the name of Walter Pöppel who describes Balkan medieval history, which when I come to think of it is apply ably on the rest of Europe today...

I pray that the guilty ones some day will be punished.

Unfortunately, too many Germans are very accepting and obedient toward the socialist governmental authorities and shrug their shoulders at the idea of challenging the status quo. When they really want to do something about the illegal immigration problem, they will. But then, the average Leftist here sympathizes with Arab causes, so they are in no hurry.

The Germans, as a race, seem to be pre-disposed to totalitarianism.
