Maureen's college days of smoking weed have arrested her developement and mutated her psychological growth to the point that she is embarrassing to read. I don't know if she smoked in college or she should have smoked in college. She certainly took her sociology professors (and all the other "soft" science instructors) way too seriously. Otherwise, you are right on.

And yet, they still carry her column. OK, I can understand the elitist liberal NYT carrying her, but she's in several newspapers around the country including the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Chattanooga Times - Free Press. Yeah, they're liberal, but they ain't the Times.
