A federally funded 10-year study has found that high-risk sexual behavior, not sharing needles, is the biggest predictor of HIV infection in males and females who inject drugs.

"In the past, we assumed that injecting-drug users (IDUs) who were HIV-positive had been infected with the virus [that causes AIDS] through needle-sharing," said Dr. Steffanie Strathdee, associate professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, who led the study, financed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

"homosexual activity was the most important risk factor in HIV transmission for men." Yep. That's the way it is. Millions of dollars worth of research can't change it.

Wow! I could have had a V-8! Who ever thought HIV was from anyting but perverted sex? This is revealing. The left never learns that the truth will prevail We will get the real truth from Seasame Street. Oh, who will be the new HIV character this fall? Hmmm ... how about Oprah, will she apologise for being wrong about her AIDS declaration?
I hope Larry "the lawsuit" Klayman gets ground on this. The left has consciously lied to the American people for over a decade concerning HIV infection.

This is the same government that has liberals voting to subsidize condom handouts and clean needles with your taxpayers dollars in the name of "preventing AIDS." Yeah even as it warns of risky sexual conduct being a predictor of AIDS your government makes sure people have every incentive to continue with the very risky sexual conduct it has condemned. Isn't this a wonderfully schizophrenic country or what?? Only in America!!!

Incidence of HIV among males 18 and older who said they had injected drugs and had engaged in homosexual activity within the previous six months was 10.4 percent per year. That was more than three times the infection rate (3.0 percent) for men who did not report having homosexual sex.

Perversion is the most preventable disease on earth. Where’s the campaign to prevent the behavior like there is for eating fatty foods and smoking? Instead we’re trying to figure out how to accommodate it.
