The way I see it, is the ignorant politicians in the US, and Israel usually hires political appointees from among their supporters as bureaucrats. Typically these bureaucrats are hired for their connection rather than their knowledge.

Exactly. One of the unavoidable flaws in an open system. In Israel's case, there are a lot of favors their government can do for our politicians. I am not sure but I have read the reverse is not true. The Christian Coalition or any other American group would not be allowed to lobby the Knesset the way AIPAC and the ADL lobbies our congress on the behalf of Israel.

You are correct. I am sure the experts on the Middle East should know how much hate there is in the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood organization. If they did not know, then they do not deserve to an expert. These SOBs are constantly fomenting hate and plotting against us. How in hell did this smart advisors instructed the CIA, and the Mousad to get in bed with such dispicable organization. It is almost as if Israel decided to cooperate and fund the Nazis!
