The delegation of Arab people's forces led by Mr. Sa'ad Qaasim Hamoudi and delegation of Chinese Society for the international understanding started talks in Peking on Saturday.

Mr. Hamoudi reviewed latest developments in relations between Iraq and the Security Council and the next round of talks with the U.N Secretary General.

He called on China to practice its role in demanding lifting embargo without conditions, canceling the illegitimate no-fly zones and stopping US-British aggression against civilians and installations.

He also called to void the Zionist entity of weapons of mass destruction in accordance with para 14 of resolution 687.

Mr. Hamoudi called for resuming meetings of the Iraqi-Chinese joint Committee. He affirmed the necessity of exchanging visits and expanding cooperation in parliamentary and party fields.

The Chinese delegation affirmed China's support for Iraq and its rejection of the no-fly zones and of any aggression on Iraq. The Chinese officials welcomed Iraq's dialogue with the UN Secretary General next July. They also affirmed China's support for making efforts to help lift the embargo.

Mr. Hamoudi invited the Chinese Society to visit Baghdad and continue dialogue and cooperation in the service of the two countries.
