It is a crisis of disinterest and the bread and circuses mentality of the American people that is at fault, not the Bush administration or John Ashcroft. Just think

A nation that will drive across town to save a nickel on gallon of gas, but the government steals and squanders trillions over the years and few care enough to give it a couple of minutes of thought in their lives.
