June 18, 2002 -- Goofy CNN founder Ted Turner, who once called the 9/11 hijackers "brave," has let loose another humdinger - this time accusing Israel of waging "terrorism" against the Palestinians.

"The Israelis . . . they've got one of the most powerful military machines in the world. The Palestinians have nothing. So who are the terrorists?" Turner asks in an interview published in today's Guardian newspaper in Britain.

I for one agree with Ted. Israel, dollar for dollar, man for man, the best military on the planet. The palestinians have virtually nothing. Israel does not want peace. They want to settle the west bank and gaza. Both sides have blood on their hands as far as I am concerned.

The Mouth from the South's bizarre remarks immediately drew a blistering response from Israeli officials, who have been battling a slew of Palestinian homicide bombers.

I wonder if the families of the 18 people that died today at the hand of those poor Palestinians motivated by "poverty and desperation" share the same viewpoint as Mr. Turner. It's pretty damn easy to sit in your cushy glass house passing judement on whole nations when you know that your billions are going to protect you and your family from any grief. And to think that this mind controls one of the world's most recognized news networks! Good timing, Mr. Turner, maybe you should read your own news headlines and feel just a little sadness for those who are suffering (on both sides) instead of spewing senseless opinions into the air.

If the Palestinians were so concerned about children, (which they apparently are not) they would not purposefully put them in the line of military targets. The Muslim Palestianians purposefully make children human targets in order to say the Jews killed kids.

Afghanistan is big and now free. Why don't the Muslim Palestianians move to Afhanistan where they would have more room, and practice radical Islam to their heart's content!

It's all BS since you could give the Pallies the same weapons as Israel (minus nukes) and Israel would still whip them quite handily. Give Pallies F16s, Apache helicopters and more and they would still lose. Israel defeated powerful Arab armies and would beat the Pallies in one eighth the time.

Terrorism is not defined by the identity of its perpetrator. Nor is it defined by the cause, real or imagined, that its perpetrators espouse. Terrorism is defined by one thing and one thing alone. It is defined by the nature of the act. Terrorists systematically and deliberately attack the innocent. That is a very different thing from the unintentional civilian casualties that often accompany legitimate acts of war.

After seeing the photos of todays bombing in Israel by the peaceful Islamic Palestinians, I am pretty convinced that these are not a civilized people. I for one would like to take a .44 Magnum and place it at the base of Afafat's skull and pull the trigger.

I also believe that the Israeli's should go after the families of the "righteous martyrs." To hell with Hamas and the rest of these terrorist lowlife pukes.
