Democrats escalated their criticism of President Bush's Social Security reform plan last week, but the White House could not have been happier to see that the attacks are drawing little, if any, media attention.
Struggling to get some news coverage and political visibility for their efforts to make Mr. Bush's personal investment accounts an issue in the congressional elections, Senate Democrats held a press conference Thursday headed by Majority Leader Tom Daschle to denounce the president's proposal in the strongest terms to date.

Ever since the Pubbies leaked that they had obtained the email from one Democratic player to her flock that their Social Security attack charges were outlandish lies, but justified, the press has been reluctant to give any of the Democrats' SS charges any media play.In fact, if the press wasn't covering for the Dems, they would have already hung themselves with their own rope.
Consider that Democrats up to and including their highest ranking Senator gave a press conference anyway even AFTER said smoking gun email memo was leaked!
That's it! The Reps want to STEAL the peoples Social Security.
That alone will cost the Reps BIG time in Nov.
