I really wouldn't know how to debate such an out-of-left-field opinion. It would be like leaving commonsense behind and debating the mad hatter.
In Africa, there are tribes that protect their tribal area. In the States, there are tribes, i.e. gangs, that protect their turf. The whole thing boils down to territoriality.
Undoubtedly purchased legally, all registered nice.
Criminals come in ALL colors, creeds, and party affiliations. I just want the media to be accurate and evenhanded. I must be dreaming to want that, though.
I see, in other words you don't have any kind of an argument, just snide remarks.
Home invasions in which the armed criminals identify themselves as police officers are not unknown here, and armed robberies of restaurants are downright commonplace. By the way, if you see a car on the street driving past with the headlights off, do NOT flash your lights at them to let them know they've *forgotten* to turn on their lights...unless you're prepared to return fire.
By the way, there are also Memphis police officers moonlighting for the gangs, or vice versa- it's sometimes difficult to tell where their loyalties lie.

Every freeper KNOWS what the media is trying to do to this country.
When articles are posted on FR, the event itself AND how it is reported are legitimate topics of conversation. Check almost any other thread and you will see this.
If you disagree with this and want to censor criticism of the media, you will need to repeat your last post about a hundred times a day to everyone else who makes comments about the media in threads. Keeping the media honest, and calling them on it when they are not, is a big part of FR and has been since day one.
Authorities say an argument over drugs may have led to shootings at a Memphis home Wednesday that injured nine people, including several children. No one is reported dead, but a 3-year-old girl and 59-year-old woman were critically injured.
Witnesses tell police that a group of men got into an argument about a block away from the house. Authorities believe it was over the quality of the unspecified drugs.
Some of the men got into cars and followed the man to the home. At least one man reportedly got out of the car and opened fire with a high-powered, semi-automatic rifle.
Officers found one of the cars and took two young men into custody. All of the victims were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Authorities say two 14-year-old girls, a 13-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman were injured, not critically. A 4-year-old boy was wounded in the shoulder and a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg. Both were hospitalized, but were expected to recover from their injuries.
A 9-year-old boy sustained a bruise, but was not seriously injured. Police did not release the identities of the victims.
Just look in the mirror. I see that my reference to the Mad Hatter was in order.
Hmmm... seems to me I've heard this before: Lights Out
