Palestinian terrorist-leader Yasser Arafat has reportedly told sources on the West Bank that he's ready to accept the Clinton peace plan, according to a Tuesday morning report picked up by the BBC's Global News/Asia Africa Intelligence Wire.

In a tersely worded bulletin sourced to the Voice of Israel in Jerusalem, the BBC said:

"Yassser Arafat has told Yitzhaq Frankenthal, chairman of the Forum of Bereaved Parents for Peace, that he accepts the Clinton plan on condition that Palestinian sovereignty on the Temple Mount is assured."

The report continued:

"Arafat agrees to Israeli sovereignty in the Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter and part of the Armenian Quarter, and claims that Israel rejected the Clinton plan. Frankenthal was speaking to our correspondent Avi Issakharov after meeting at noon with Arafat in Ramallah."

If that doesn't work he can call Jimmy in Havana and tell him he accepts his Camp David Accords.

Has anyone told Yassir that Clinton is no longer in a position to negotiate?

Here we go again. The Euro-trash media and all the usual apologists will make a huge deal of this while conveniently ignoring his call yesterday for a million martyrs.

How stupid can people be? A whole life's beliefs and history and all of the sudden Arafart is ready for peace? Yeah, right. And the Pope's really Jewish.

Better question--has anyone told Clinton?

And wouldn't you just love to be a fly on the wall when Clinton hears this? Bwahaaaa...

If Clinton cannot withhold responding to this news, keep the Logan Act in mind.

Let's see. The Saudi/New York Times Peace Plan, plagiarized without credit by the Jordanians for Saudi P.R. purposes was "evolving" recently to add more and more demands, like the Syrian issues.

Now Arafat accepts the "Clinton plan" - which revision? Does he fear he's becoming irrelevant, so he makes a grand gesture again? Will it lock in the Palies?

It was Ross who recently said on TV that Arafat was the problem, and wouldn't cede the Israelis the Western Wall. I didn't know to believe this guy - but seeing that Arafat is expressly mentioning it here, it was true! He was demanding that the Wall be given to him! Now he's conceding he argued for that very thing!

Will this point be lost on the press? Probably. It shames Arafat as unreasonable in the first place, and undermines the story the pali p.r. people constructed about the negotiations, the cruel israeli demands, etc.

Here's a link to Hume's interview of Ross

Dennis Ross on Fox News Sunday (What Arafat Turned Down)

ROSS: He supposed to give, on Jerusalem, the idea that there would be for the Israelis sovereignty over the Western Wall, which would cover the areas that are of religious significance to Israel. He rejected that.

HUME: He rejected their being able to have that?

ROSS: He rejected that.

  1. Why did didn't Yasser accept BEFORE so many innocent lives were lost?
  2. WHAT did did Bubba OFFER Yasser this time? (We KNOW he did. He buys everybody. That's why none of his plans ever work in the long run)
  3. How does Bubba expect to PAY it now that he's no longer emperor of the US?
  4. WHO CARES WHAT CLINTON THINKS OR YASSER WANTS ANYMORE?? IF YASSER AND BUBBA RINSED THE COLLECTED BLOOD OFF THEIR HANDS, THEY COULD MAKE THE RED SEA REALLY RED!!

Arafat is calling Israel's bluff. Dennis Ross, who was AIPAC's man in the Clinton administration, has been going around claiming the unwritten Clinton offer included all this stuff. Now let's see how quickly Ross and the Israelis backpedal away from the deal they supposedly offered.

I see this as a sign of INCREDIBLE desperation on Arafat's part.

How long has his most recent Alzheimer’s episode been anyways?

1- Clinton is no longer President. SO this is yet another ploy! What’s next acceptance of British Partitions of 48?

2- He is in NO position to ask for security of any Holy Sites as he offers none.
