LOL, yes I think I can identify with that. I think Colin will walk in the not too distant future. I have to believe that Bush must disagree with his more liberal views. Then again Bush may wish to keep a guy like Powell around for those times when he may want to send messages that conflict with his true intentions. I'm not sure what to make of this at times.

I honestly think Bush has heard the hooves of the stampede that is approaching to complain of his words of caution and restraint towards Israel. Let's hope so, because if he reverts to refusing to label Arafat a terrorist and urges more restraint on Israel, I think he's going to do himself great political harm.

Bush is playing for time. That's been the strategy right from the beginning. What he aims to do can't be done overnight and with the mess he was left with, he needed all the time he could get. Powell is not the enemy, although I agree that there are many of the enemy at State. Fixing a mess takes time especially when there are a dozen balls in the air while your trying to do it.
