Finally a glimpse of what our troops were really up against during that operation. Generally, when going up against an enemy in the defense they have a built in 10:1 advantage. In a prepared defense such as this, that number is much higher. To have so few US casualties during this operation speaks HUGE VOLUMES to the rest of the world's military - "You can't run, and you can't hide. If we're coming for you, you're going to die."
Take note, Saddam.

Great pics BUMP
Interesting bunker, inside that cave. Nice pictographs for the illiterate minions, herion to make the illiterate minions dream lovly dreams of blood, fire, death and soccer matches - and of course loads of armament so the minions can carry out their programming.
God bless our troops.

Me to, and very informative photos. When people think of caves, they think of something like Mamouth Cave, or a hole in the ground. These are undergound military facilities. I hope we blow them all up. Now, that would be a cool picture!

Thanks for the flag. Great pictures. Some of those caves look hardened, and really livable.
The Tunnel Rats (upper case on purpose) in Nam didn't have it so good.

Possible "heroine" stash, eh? That little box seems too small to hold any woman worthy of that title.

Some of these same pics were available at
Defend America back in February , (in color).
U.S. Navy SEALs found valuable intelligence information, including these mine recognition posters located in an Al Qaeda terrorist classroom in the Zawar Kili area of Afghanistan. It's amazing what the general public DOESN'T see, isn't it? I show my friends and family stuff and they are just stunned.
I'd pay for view of the blowing up!

I'd pay to see the bomb damage assessment images from Saddam's command bunker that received that direct hit down the ventilation shaft - but not from the aircraft camera. I'd like to see the inside.
