AFVetGal is a wonderful FReeper and served our country in the Air Force.

This is AFVetGal in the back seat of an F-16D just before taking off on an "incentive flight" when I was the public affairs officer for an F-16 fighter wing. It was awesome! I pulled 3 Gs. Word to the wise -- don't eat a big Mexican lunch prior to flying in one of these high-performance aircraft.

This is AFVetGal ( Jens) husband Matt he was in the Air Force for four years. They met in Hawaii where they were both stationed. He was a crew chief and worked in Transient Alert which was responsible for all the visiting aircraft. He got to take care of the planes of President Reagan, Prince and Princess of Wales, Margaret Thatcher, Thunderbirds, Blue Angels and I don't remember how many other dignitaries and VIPs.

Good Morning, everybody. There's fresh hot coffee on the counter here at the Canteen. Breakfast will be served shortly,,,: Sausage links, scrambled eggs, Potatoes O'brien, a Pear, Peach and Banana thingy, OJ, Toast w/store bought Cherry Jam.

(The homemade Strawberry and Raspberry jams are all gone,,, but the "season" is near, and there will soon be more Strawberry)

Good Morning, gal. How many days until you see Johnathan? I can only imagine your anticipation. What foods is he asking you for? My college aged kid calls home with special orders for food prior to returning home for a visit.

I about split a gut the other day when you commented about "embarassing" him by posting about his birthday on the net. Been there done that. I always explain it away to my kids by telling them I'm getting even for all the junk they laid on me while they were growing up.
