The Democratic Party will launch a new voter education and mobilization campaign it hopes will get more older people, gays and lesbians and minorities onto registration rolls.

In the Democratic radio address aired Saturday, Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., made no secret that he hoped the "Every Vote Counts" campaign would also boost the number of voters registered to his party.

Three out of 10 Americans eligible to vote are not registered, with percentages lower significantly for groups including minorities, younger Americans and people with disabilities, the congressman said. Their "people."

Every day the DNC edges a little closer to being a blatantly "get whitey" party. Right now it's already "get straight male whitey".

As long as each person only registers once, that's okay by me. I just hope that some of Rangel's base don't decide to register a few more dead relatives in different precincts, so they can "vote early and often." They will justify it this way, "Well, Aunt Josie would have wanted to vote for the Democrat if she were here today."

A friend of mine told me of one of his worst fears-- that after he dies, he will start voting Democrat.

Federal government information for military absentee voting
and for anyone who has moved and not yet registered again to vote.

The 2002-03 Voting Assistance Guide is the primary source of information
for citizens to understand the procedures for registering and voting
in their state or territory of legal voting residence.

Interesting to see who the DEMS consider their voters!

Hey - R's need to prepare a similar drive to go after married, stable, church-going, state fair-attending, pet-owning, normal folks of all colors.

I'm registered, but tell me, why should I, a white Southern male, vote for the Stupid Party? They support affirmative action and open borders immigration just like the Craps do. BTW, I sent e mails to the two Pub challengers for Max Cleland's senate seat here in Ga, Bob Irvin and Saxby Chambliss, asking of them their stances on these issues. Never recieved an answer. Been over a month ago since I sent the e mail. Again, why should I vote for the Pubs?????

I guess they're missing their stadium-sited mass citizenship-fests from the Clinton years.

Next up: registration drives at shuffleboard clubs, nursing homes, ICU wards, bingo rooms, taquerias, cockfights, street-corner dayworker pickup sites, and gay raves, baths and bars.

Wotta party.

Because your alternatives are to vote "D" or check out altogether. As for me, I'll continue to try to work within the system and elect more conservative R's to Congress.

We need to stop illegals from voting and from the RATS getting absentee votes from people in mental hospitals.

Good point. True voter education would be the scariest thing to the RAT party. They don't want intelligent, informed people to vote. They want the sheeple to vote.
