A wall is a good idea for temporary security, but the only way to get permanent security is to destroy the "palestinians" will and ability to fight.

To make war on an enemy and then allow him the means to make and create more weapons of war is suicide. Israel needs to DESTROY the "Palestinians" ability to wage war, and then destroy thier will to wage war.

"Ingredient" is the key word, no doubt. What Guderian cooked up was original, though it did owe some credit to these other "cooks".

The problem seems to be that too many focus on the armor, because tanks are cool and sexy and menacing and photogenic. Blitzkrieg as a combined arms synergism of armor, mechanized infantry and artillery, and close air support, is much harder for the casual observer of things military to understand, and that is where Guderian was the innovator, in creating that synergy.

Foreign aid =IS= the Palestinian economy at this point. I believe Arafat directly supports some 100,000 people as "PA employees," another word for welfare. Consider that's about 1 in 15 of the West Bank and Gaza population...

Sharon is in total denial if he thinks any fence will end the Palestinian attacks.

The Palestinians are now using improvised Katyusha-like rockets as well as an excellent improvised mortar - and they will just overfly any such fence.

And that's aside from whether Palestinians will just tunnel under the fence - like they've already done from Egypt to smuggle arms to Gaza, or like the Mexicans do to smuggle dope here.

Israel needs a very thick and tall wall ---they should allow no Muslims on the Israeli side, not for schools, hospitals or anything. Let the Palestinians build their own --after all ---they want their own state.

Re your # 47... I guess you are aware, of course, that many Arabs have praised Hitler and other Nazis for murdering Jews? And you have read the statement of the Arab in charge of attacking the newly founded state of israel in 1948 that "it will be a war of extermination and annihilation." Of course the Israelis are so xenophobic that they only let a million Arabs live in their country with full rights as Israeli citizens. How many Jews live in the Arab countries friend?

In the first place, many Americans and Europeans praised Hiler and his insidious friends prior to and during the early portions of WWII, not the least of which was Charles Lindburgh. He, among many other famous and well meaning people were deemed anti-semites....and we named the Airport at San Diego after him.

In the second place, Israel is a country siezed by non-semetic Jews who disregarded the UN resolution providing a homeland for them at the end of that war. Read any encyclopedia for the facts. For your information, the UN resoluion of that time was specific in finding a "homeland" for the displaced European Jews.....It specifically stated that this "homeland" was not to be a State or even a Commomwealth but a place in which they could live together with the semetic Jews and Arabs who had redided together there since the early Bronze age. In short, these hoards of non-semetic people coming into this land during the past 55 years have literally hi-jacked the territory for themselves against world intent. That is the basic source of the hatred and attrocities commited by sides, Arab and Jew alike.

No one is claiming the Arabs are faultles...or even that they are not guilty of more crimes than the Jews....Only that the Jews claim total freedom from having commited any atrocious crimes or attrocites which would in and of itself be laughable if it was not so terribly arrogant, self serving, and destructive to world peace.

The Berlin Wall worked pretty damm good for the E. Germans for close to 40 years. I think the Israelis would build the great wall of China around Jerusalem if they knew that 40 years of peace would be gained as the result.
