Well, yumanity, maybe you're right. Maybe the clintons are not the focus of evil in the modern world. But they surely do a good job of making one think so!!!

For one thing, what you guys are calling COMMUNIST is not the INTERNATIONAL Soviet Communism of old.

Actually, what we are talking about is the International Communism of old, just not International "Soviet" Communism. If you doubt for a minute that Castro is not working with Chavez to subvert the whole of Latin America to Communist control, then you must have been hoodwinked into thinking that the Communists are dead. Beijing has taken over from Moscow as the seat of international Communism in charge of financing its spread.

Of course China is not Communist anymore, just a dictatorship having sold out to the New World Order of Global Capitalism. Is everyone who challenges the New World Order of Global Corporate Rule a Communist to you?

What the hell are you talking about? You will not find a greater opponent to the New World Order global socialist conspirators than myself. As to a New World Order "of Global Capitalism", I do not know what you are talking about. There is no such conspiracy. Using that type of anti-capitalist Communist propaganda language makes you sound like a supporter of the neo-Communist Green Party.

Communist China is not Communist anymore? My good gosh man, what crap propaganda have you been listening too lately. Communist China is as Communist as it has ever been. There is not a shred of political freedom in Communist China and virtually their entire ecoonomy is state owned or controlled either directly by the PLA or indirectly through the "princelings" who are nothing but ChiCom nomenklatura who can be trusted to do the bidding of the Butchers of Beijing without hesitation.

Yes, I've been watching Commanding Heights, and it's wonderful! There hasn't been anything this good on PBS since Milton Friedman's Free to Choose series. The second show in particular, that showed all the great kick-butt quotes of Reagan was superb! I taped it and can hardly wait for the third installment this Wednesday.

BTW, if anyone has read the book The Sovereign Individual, it details quite well the demise of Communism, but also of all the nation states. If the theories are correct, the large countries and institutions are all going the way of the dinosaur. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the US break up into several regional authorities, or even city-states.

BTW - anybody see "Commanding Heights" on PBS?

Sure did. I had to double-check the channel to make sure I was actually watching PBS.

Latin American Communist profanes Venezuela's Heritage (notice picture of Bolivar in the background and crucifix in his hand).

It seems that Chavez has learned a lot from Fidel. Castro used the crucifix for his own propaganda purposes in the Sierra Maestra and when he entered Havana in 1959.

Quote from this Link:To curry favor with the peasants, Castro catered to their religious prejudices. His own religious education alerted him to the tremendous propaganda value that religious mysticism and ritual exercise over the masses. During the whole of his two-and-a-half year stay in the Sierra Maestra, Castro never once failed to display the conspicuous, colorful crucifix he wore around his neck. During his "March On Havana" escorted by the "heroes of the Revolution," the famous "Barbudos" (bearded ones) Castro ordered them to display brightly colored medallions and other religious ornaments on their uniforms.

"The lesson here is that charismatic demagogues can still win elections in poor countries," said Anibal Romero, a political science professor at Simon Bolivar University here. "The economic and social instability is still with us. The field is still open for the successful appearance of these figures that, by distorting reality and securing the hearts and minds of the uneducated, win elections."

Hmm, seems like they can still win elections in the USA too. Clinton, Gore, Hillary and the whole poverty-pimp, race baiting, free toys Dem party run on the same program.

Who will we blame when the Clintons are dead? Ask us on that happy occasion and we will tell you.

The World Trade Organization, IMF, and all the trans-national corporations who are driving globalization are socialistic? If they are socialistic then I wonder what you consider capitalistic.

The WTO and IMF are internationalist/socialist cabals inaugerated by the Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission whose aim is a one-world government modeled on the European democratic socialist model which removes all checks and balances and gives the government near total control with democratic trappings as cover. How can you argue otherwise? There is nothing "free" about trade which is globally managed, internationally regulated by NAFTA and GATT/WTO. As for the IMF, imposing price controls and austerity measures is a Keynesian socialist and anti-free-market mindset to the core. A true free enterprise system for which you ascribe the Marxist term "capitalist" rejects all attempts at government micromanagement of the economy outside of tax incentives and the like. The transnational corporations are just amoral un-American business interests committed to making a buck even if it means committing treason by arming and enriching US enemies with the latest and greatest nuclear missile and supercomputer technology and sowing the seeds of the destruction of the US of A.

Recovering from his recent unlawful and unjust imprisonment at the hands of Tony Blair's pro-Communist Laborite Socialist henchmen, I should think.
