GOTTA SEE THIS -OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM 4/9/02

<========================>

REPORT FROM THEATRE 1 - Afghanistan

In Kabul, British Royal Marines arrive
and then practice accuracy and precision.

31 miles west of Kabu, the control center of the Kabul hydroelectric power.

In Kabul, at the bazaar, extending to the river.

In Kabul, at the Buzkashi game.
No matter what universe you are from, that has to hurt.

In Kabul, kite flying is legal, thanks to President Bush and the USA.
Kite Wars. Even kite fights are taken seriously, using poles and barbed wires to destroy each others kites.

Somewhere between Kabul and Kandahar,
AH-64 Apache helicopters fly guard for CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

In Kabul, the First battalion of the Afghan National Guard.

In Kabul, the schools are open for Afghan girls,
thanks to President Bush and the USA.

==========================================

In Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghan boys play on old military equipment.

In Mazar-e-Sharif, the schools are open for Afghan girls, thanks to President Bush and the USA.

============== THE SHIITE RELIGION IN AFGHANISTAN: ASHURA ========

In Mazar-e-Sharif, the Shiites, mostly Hazara were not allowed to celebrate their religion under the Taliban.
They do now at the Ashura Shiite festival, where flagellation is the Shi'ite norm.

Women watch from roofs, as other whip themselves and touch the flagpole battle standard,

held above them. It is from the battle which lead to the death of Imam Hussein,
which split Shiites from Sunnis.

========== PERP UPDATE ======================

At the Shibirgan prison, Taliban are alive unlike the Americans they murdered.
Hundreds have been freed.
They probably deserve death rather than their relatively comfortable prison status
because the murdered thousands and thousands of innocent Americans in the 911 Atrocities.

At the Shibirgan prison, the Red Cross -flush with a billion dollars from Americans
who THOUGHT they were donating to the victims of families murdered in the 911 Atrocities,
have the utter gall to give the money to the Taliban.
In this picture, Taliban fighters receive money from the Red Cross in Shibirgan.

At the Fort Qali-i-Janghi prison near Mazar-i-Sharif,
U.S. born Yaser Esam Hamdi, 22, is a traitor. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he grew up in Saudi Arabia with his parents as a young child. .

============== FLASHBACK ====================

FLASHBACK - Oct. 24, 2001, fortress complex near Mazar-i-Sharif.
Ikonos satellite photo.

============================

This is the fight for Enduring Freedom from terrorism,
led by President George Bush, helped by the valiant US military and US citizens
who oppose terrorists.

Great pics....Is there a source that implicates the Red Cross in donating our money to the taliban. That is just unbelievable!

I heard yesterday that Laura Bush did some of the work in organizing the opening of the schools in Afghanistan and helped in the creation and printing of several million primary textbooks.

Do you or anyone else have more specific information about this project and the role of our President's wife?

Diogenesis, I marvel at your dedication and ability.
You took us from the joy of 'shopping' and kites, and one shot there of Afghan "Hobbit-Holes" to schools - but schools w / o desks etc- to religious freedom where the women are still draped in burkas and the men are beating themselves bloody, to prisons.
What a trip!
The Red Cross AGAIN, but about that "US traitor", my understanding was that he was born here but moved as a very young toddler; that being the case, he has only memories and knowledge of Saudia Arabia- don't think that classifies as "traitor".
Where do you get these pics, Diogenesis?

I'll never be able to give anything ever again to the Red Cross. I'll just have to find other charities. Disgusting that the Red Cross gives money to those terrorists!

Thanks for all the photos, Dio.

Ahhh the joys of diversity, the enlighted way our college professors taught our politicans to embrace other cultures as being better than our own.

I just cant' wait until the horsemen are galloping down my street with their headless goat, maybe we can even have self flagellation block parties, beats tupperware parties I guess.

I am going to be the devil's advocate in this case. That guy that was born in Louisiana, he is NOT an American simply by virtue of birth. He was raised as an Arab in an Arabic countryto Arabic parents.

P.S. The Amereican Red Cross is NOT the same organization that is giving out the money to the Taliban, the INTERNATIONAL Red Cross.

The money has been siphoned from Americans to Red Cross projects from new
computers to matters outside of the US.

Whether the donors' money (intended for the families of the victims
of the 911 atrocities) was siphoned to the Red Crescent,
or the IRC, etc., seems less important than the fact that
IT DID NOT GO TO WHERE THE DONORS INTENDED
AND WERE LED TO BELIEVE THAT IT WAS GOING.

Thanks for the pictures. Keep publishing our online Life magazine - including proof of the inconscionable actions of the Red Cross.

Well, perhaps "norm" was the wrong word.
The prevalence in the picture showing young boys and men
being beaten and flagellated by razor sharp metal chains seems
a bit higher than sporadic.
