How do I get the sidebars back!?!?!?!? THIS STINKS!

FR was the very first page that I loaded when I got online all because of the great sidebars that had all of the days news in a very easy to read format and was updated more than at Drudge....now, unless I get those sidebars back then I'll have to just stick back with Drudge.

How do we get to see the sidebars again...also, the page now loads way too slow, whats up with that?

I just noticed some instructions that tell you how to get them back. You go to a topic and look for the link on the left hand side that says "Click here to subscribe". That will add that topic to your sidebar.

I agree, this is horrible..

First, click "Topics"

Second, scroll down and click "Breaking News", or "Front Page".

Third, open "Breaking News" in a new window. On the left side of page of the "Breaking News" topic (in the gray area under the flag) click "Subscribe".

That should add Breaking News to your opening page.

You will get a sidebar...all you have to do is click on "TOPICS" at the top...
...select the topic you want to have on your sidebar...
...you will be taken to that topic page...
...now look on the left sidebar...below the "United We Stand" icon...see where it ask if you want to subscribe?

If you subscribe...you will find the topic added to your sidebar on the right.

The web site has become...non-user friendly...too much jumping around for the average user to negotiate.

It took me less than five minutes to figure out how to find Breaking News. What the heck is wrong with you idiots?

You guys blathered when the old format was devised. You'll blather when the new format is replaced.

I hope the management does begin to delete these threads. It's embarassing to think this many dum basses participate on the forum.

1) Go to the News/Activism forum.
2) Click on "Topics" at the top of the page.
3) Scroll down the topic list and find breaking news - click on it.
4) Look for the "Click here to subscribe" link - click it.
5) Repeat for other topics you would like in your sidebars.
