This is a research paper written by a 14 year old girl named Hannah Fairchild, who is the only pro-life student in her Advanced English class. It provides many good arguments, as well as a writing ability that is uncharacteristic of her age.
"America is known as a place of peace and plenty to outsiders who long to live here. Yet inside our borders, invisible to other countries, are some nasty little aspects of our nation that most people wish would just go away. These are the most controversial issues America has to face, the ones citizens fight over and politically correct politicians mull over. This has gone on as long as anyone can remember, and will probably continue to be so for years to come. One such issue is the broad and complicated matter of abortion. Opposing views have provided their arguments since the decision of Roe vs. Wade in 1973. However, no matter what liberal and pro-choice candidates like to say, abortion is not only morally wrong, but a menace to the glorious society we call America.
For centuries, God-fearing Christians have looked towards the Bible for comfort in all things frightening and guidance in all things complicated. Coincidently, the Bible proves that abortion is morally wrong and religiously unacceptable. For example, Deuteronomy 31:19: "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your children may live." This is a direct quote from the Old Testament that is interpreted as an order from God Himself to choose life over destroying an unborn child. Another example is found in Genesis 25:21-23, when Rebekah's unborn twins are described by the Hebrew word "banim," meaning child, infant, or young person. Although there is a Hebrew word for fetus, or unborn, it is not used in the Bible. Also, pregnant women are described as being "with child," and not merely pregnant women. Both of these examples show that unborn children were considered to be living even though they were not yet born
Many men and woman choose to forsake path of religion, and walk instead the road of atheism. Sadly, most atheists and agnostics are pro-choice. However, the truth is that atheists have many good reasons to be pro-life, and even better reasons not to be pro-choice. For example, the common atheistic belief is that there is no after-life, and that the human soul is lost upon death. If an atheist loses a young relative, there is no consolation of the child's soul being in Heaven with his or her deceased family members. Therefore, the taking of any life, especially that of an unborn infant, is the greatest crime another human being could commit, seeing as how the baby's unique and special personality is gone forever. Another atheistic belief is that the universe evolved into it's modern state, instead of being planned and carried out by a higher force than humans, and that an unplanned life is just as meaningful and fulfilling as an unplanned one. This belief contradicts with the pro-choice view-point that an unplanned life is not worth saving. If the "choicest" theory that only a planned life is important enough to be saved were applied to the entire universe, than there would be very little left alive with the fond memories of Western civilization to tell the horrible tale.
The case of Roe versus Wade in 1973 is now believed to have been the official decline of the American system of morals. The decision to legalize abortion on demand was, supposedly, made to lower the rate of child abuse cases and satisfy "Women's Rights" activists. However, in the first seven years of legalized abortion, child abuse rates increased 370% (RoevWade.org), and 96% of women who've had abortion later believe that they killed their children (Dr. Anne Speckhard). Also, abortion takes more lives every year than tobacco, cancer, alcohol related deaths, aids, and car accidents combined (ProLifeInfo.org), an average 1.3 million per year, 3,562 per day, and 1,323,833,145 in the United States since Roe versus Wade in 1973 (ProLife.com)
Abortion has not only become a national evil, but a world wide problem that is literally out of control. Abortion is legalized in 54 countries, including France, Britain, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, and the United States, a total list of 61% of the world's countries. According to the Allan Cuttmacher Institute, there were a total of 22 million legal abortions in 1987 world wide, and a further four to nine million unreported abortions in the same year. There were also approximately 10-22 million secret, or "back-alley" abortions, making the total number to 45 million in the first fourteen years of legalized abortion.
Despite the obvious evil of abortion in our nation, there are several laws that judicialize the death of thousands of unborn children every year. For example, the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (Title 18 U.S.C.) provides criminal and civil sanctions for interfering with a woman's access to abortion clinics. Another law is the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, an unsuccessful bill to prohibit the performance of "partial-birth" abortions, in which the mother is forced into premature labor, and poisons are injected into the fetus's skull before it can be fully formed. Pro-choice candidates have even proposed adding legalized abortion amendments to the Constitution. Nearly all proposed amendments concerning abortion have been rejected, including the Right to Life Amendments, which were designed to counteract Roe by providing constitutional protection for the unborn.
It is common for pro-choice citizens to walk around spewing their slogans of rape and other such weak arguments, even though they have no relevant facts to back them up. Feminist Susan B. Anthony wrote in response to abortion, "Guilty" Yes, no matter what the motive, love of ease or desire to save suffering from the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed. It will burden her conscience in life, and it will burden her soul in death." In the words of one of the greatest suffragettes of all time, abortion is evil, and women should not be given the indignity or the option. Over one million unborn children will never see daylight this year as a result of abortion. One must give pro-choicists credit; they certainly are doing all they can to lower world population."
What does that mean? That Susan B. Anthony had an abortion?
I wonder if she was home schooled.
Wise beyond her years.

If not she is very very intelligent! Its stories like these that give you hope in the future
So true--never would have thought of reading such a great presentation from someone that young.
I wonder if she(?) is 14.
A student who is well-read can pick up vocabulary and phraseology from places other than home, though I suspect she wouldn't be reading the type of material that would lead her thinking this way without encouragement at home.
There are some slight errors in usage of words that I find very consistent with the writings of a child that age, who is wise beyond her years in some ways but still not a fully mature writer.
However, the main thing is that whatever her age and whatever her background, the young lady makes some outstanding points. I only wish that many more adults shared her views!
Like other posters have said, young people like her give me hope for the future when everything else seems to be going to hell in a handbasket.
My sons often wrote about the Second Amendment when they had to choose a topic for an essay. One teacher (liberal) actually admitted to my son that she had changed her views and was more in favor of gun rights as a result of his papers. We conservatives must take every opportunity to educate the sheeple, they mostly only ever hear the liberal slant to any and all issues.
