This is the years most anxiously awaited thread. The fun, the fashions, the winners and the losers.
Please join in. This will be fast and furious.

Tune in to E! Entertainment Television for the preliminaries.
Thank you in advance to all our friends who will be manning the news photo sites for the fashions. What a great night this will be.

I must be the only one on the planet that couldn't care less about the oscars! I don't go to that many movies, since I like entertainment, not blood, guts and bombs and rape. I'll watch the evening news for that. There aren't any movies anymore that are worth the price of the ticket to get in.

I used to watch the AA's, have parties, love to predict and talk about it. But now all these people make me sick. I can't STAND the Joan Rivers thing and the clothes and how they look. Maybe I'm getting old, but everytime I think of these overpaid wankers getting more STUFF, I want to puke. There, I said it.

I am here and ready for duty. I hope to post pictures as they come up. Thanks for the ping and the thread.

Please forgive me for being a curmudgeon here, but I really don't give a rat's behind about the Oscars or those self-absorbed leftists.
Also severely PO'd that the FBI is there to protect them when they can do nothing but criticize the US and our president.

My 'Hawks have emerged victorious into the Final 4 and all is right with the world..now on to the real battle tonight-THE FASHION WARS!!
To: Jewels1091
I agree with you I'm sure the radical liberals will win. That idiot Sean Penn who continues to complain about Bush will probably win. And the movies about retards will win. The only one I want to win is Lord of The Rings.

Just a reminder: the Joan Rivers show at 6 p.m. EST on E! network; Barbara Walters interviews Cruise, Parker and Barry at 7 p.m. EST on ABC; Oscars "arrival coverage" at 8 p.m. EST on ABC; and the ceremony itself (oh my heart, be still) at 8:30 p.m. EST, hosted by Whoopie Goldberg.
To: daisyscarlett
Will some of the cable channels like FOX and CNN have coverage also to switch during the commerical breaks from E!

Halle Barry is supposedly going to detail her suicide attempt from a few years ago after she divorced Atlanta Braves baseball player David Justice.
And Tom Cruise tries to spit out words to say that he actually loves Penelope Cruz and isn't getting married anytime soon...sounds like a good night on Barbara Wa-WA

Are there going to be any conservatives there?

To: Jewels1091; Hildy; scholar; Dengar01;
If you would like I could start a spoilsports thread for all of you.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
As usual, this thread will be far more entertaining than the event itself. . . . .
To: codebreaker
ABC has exclusive rights which is why E has to do their show so early. But ABC is having a bunch of pre-shows even as I type. Nothing exciting, just clips and things of past shows and events. Commercials are good for those of us who have t.v. in one room and computer in the other. We can go back and forth during commercials.

Will the networks be "calling" the election before the awards are announced?
To: Dengar01;Jewels1091;scholar
What part of this do you not understand? This is for people who love to watch the absurd. You are welcome to join in and do the same, but no one is twisting your respective arms.
