HEADLINE: China's Jiang to visit Iran in mid-April - source
DATELINE: TEHRAN
BODY:
Chinese President Jiang Zemin will make an official visit to Iran at the head of a top political and economic delegation in April, a Chinese embassy source said.
The exact date has not been fixed but it will be "around mid-April", the source said.
The announcement came as talks on energy cooperation are being held in Tehran at a meeting of a joint Iranian-Chinese joint economic commission.
"Long term contracts for purchase of crude oil from Iran and cooperation in the strategic gas sector are highly important to China", the head of the Chinese delegation, Wu Yi, told Iran's IRNA news agency.
This was the first time that sales of Iran's gas to China has been discussed by experts and officially announced.
China has been active in Iran in different fields, including construction of a power plant, highways, and Tehran's subway and airport, and is also building five oil tankers for the Iranian merchant fleet.
Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao said in Tehran in January last year that Jiang had agreed to come to Iran on an official state visit at a date to be fixed.
Iran's President Mohammad Khatami visited China in June 2000.

The ChiCom regime is the Axis' hub.
Les jeux sont fait.
I saw this in the Chinese press and found these english articles.
Actually, we need to make sure that Iran knows they're targeted then, since Zemin will be there instead of at home.
April 19th isn't far off. A lot, if not most, of us believe there's a ME connection to the Murrah Bldg.--and it was claimed that was connected to Waco. We all know now that there has apparently been some past liason between Islamic terrorists and some on the extreme, extreme right. Is it possible that there was something going on at Waco--like the manufacturing of some biological WMD that the government would rather look bad on then let us know the truth?
That is purely speculation, but now I wonder. I can conceive of no other reason for our special ops people to help incinerate women and children.
