After 9/11 the refugee program was suspended. Well, guess what, THEY'RE BACK, arriving daily at JFK. The refugee program is the biggest scam going. You have got to see all the "poor starving" refugees who come back from their carribean vacations. Today a refugee, next week it's margaritas poolside...The refugee nonsense is just a way to by-pass the set limits for immigrant visa issued annualy, except the refugees get huge cash handouts when they walk in the door. So when you see a brand new family in your neighborhood from some eastern bloc country opening their own business, you in part are a shareholder, cuz your tax dollars financed the start-up costs. Then they also show up at the airport coming from the countries they supposedly just fled... uggh
