I'd expect.
But instead, I'm afraid, we may be treated to Bush chastising the Israelis, Powell calling for a "palestinian" state, Zinni making "unofficial" remarks to later be retracted, Peres calling for one more pajama party with Arafat and FR's Nazi contingent slobbering with glee all over their other hideouts.
You make it sound like he saw a porno site. (No, I don't go there either)
All I was asking for was a little courtesy, which I realize in todays pop cultured mind numbed world is an lost art, I guess even here.
but perhaps you should think about letting him browse FR.
He was not browsing FR. You think a 10 year old would be interested for more than 5 seconds?
He was asking me a question.

The White House just said that Zinni's mission is made more relevant by today's attacks. Israel is expected to show restraint.
I'm not offended, I just prefer to err on the side of caution. Some victims would want their bloody photos in public view; others may feel violated even more by the cameras. Just because Reuters or AP snaps them, doesn't mean I would want to assist in violating these victims. I don't know so I don't post them. Also, some people who read these threads may not want to see gruesome photos. It doesn't have to have anything to do with their political beliefs. Like I said, those with eyes to see will see [without needing photos]; those who are blind won't see anything in those photos.
We can simply agree to disagree on the need to post such graphic images. I just thought I'd offer a fuller explanation of why others (like myself) believe otherwise. Best, TG
I sit here and weep for Israel (literally), how dare some in this country put her into the same moral equivalency as the savage Palestinians.
Did you notice when Israel bombed one place last week and the media made such a BIG deal about how it hit a school for the blind? Of course it was at night and no one was there, but you wouldn't have figured the way it was so overblown!
There is hope for people yet!
"Our condolences go out to the families of the victims of the most recent violence," a senior administration official said, commenting on attacks in Jerusalem and the seaside town of Netanya in which 12 people were killed and dozens wounded.
"The day's events underscore the importance of General Zinni's mission and the need for both sides to heed the president's words on Thursday," the official said.
In announcing Zinni's trip on Thursday, President Bush urged the Palestinians to stop attacking Israelis and also called on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to do everything he could to calm tensions.
"I am deeply concerned about the tragic loss of life and escalating violence in the Middle East," Bush said at the time.
A Palestinian suicide bomber killed 11 people and wounded 54 in a crowded Jerusalem cafe near Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's residence Saturday, police said.
The bomber, from the Islamic militant group Hamas, struck shortly after two Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a crowded hotel strip in the seaside town of Netanya.
One Israeli was killed, apparently in the crossfire, and 34 wounded in Netanya before police shot dead the attackers.
Zinni, a retired Marine Corps general, will probably leave for the Middle East in the middle of next week, accompanied by veteran mediator Aaron Miller, a U.S. official said on Friday.
The decision to send Zinni came as a surprise, because U.S. officials had repeatedly said he would not go back unless the level of violence fell significantly.
