Ninth Circuit to See Vince Foster Body Photos in AJF FOIA Suit

In the Foster section of my web site is a new letter and declaration from the DOJ and OIC stating that they are enclosing, under seal, color copies of the 10 photos for the court's ex parte in camera review in response to the Ninth Circuit's instructions and that they will bring the original photos to the oral argument for the court's inspection pursuant to the court's instructions. We are awaiting a date for oral argument, which will occur in the Ninth Circuit's courthouse in Pasadena, CA.

I am curious why this is being held in Pasadena instead of D.C.?? The suit was filed in federal court in Los Angeles, so any appeals go to the Ninth Circuit, which is headquartered in California.
