Actor Woods Fingered 9/11 Kamikaze Terrorists on Previous Fight

Actor James Woods revealed Thursday night that at least two of the al Qaeda kamikaze terrorists who slammed commercial jetliners into the World Trade Center and Pentagon five months ago were on a flight he took to California a month earlier.

"The flight I took was actually on August 1," said Woods, who spoke publicly about the encounter for the first time on Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor."

After spotting four Arab-looking men with no carry-on luggage who seemed to be behaving suspiciously, he took action.

"I took it upon myself to go to the flight attendant and asked to speak to the pilot of the plane," Woods said. "The first officer came out. I reported to him that I felt that these four men.... I said, I think they're going to hijack this plane."

"I found out later that not only did he make a report but the flight attendant also made a report of my suspicions to the FAA," he added.

Woods said that when he got home that night friends asked how his flight went. He replied jokingly, "Well, aside from the terrorists and the turbulence it was fine."

Though nothing came of his vigilance for the next 40 days, Woods said that on the morning after the attacks, the FBI was outside his house waiting to talk to him at 7:15 a.m.

"Since then I have identified for sure two of them (on my flight) as two of the terrorists who actually were not on Flight 11, but one was on Flight 175 and one was on Flight 77."

United Airlines Flight 77 slammed into Tower Two of the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m. on 9/11. American Airlines Flight 175 hit the Pentagon some 45 minutes later.

Woods said that someone "in a higher level of government" has told him that all four of the Middle Eastern men he observed in August participated in the 9/11 attacks in some way.

The politically conservative actor said that earlier accounts suggesting he reported the suspected terrorists to the FBI before 9/11 - and that the bureau failed to take his report seriously - were erroneous. Woods said instead that the flight crew may have made an FBI report.

A secondhand account of Woods' encounter with the 9/11 terrorists first surfaced in Cindy Adams' New York Post column just days after the attacks. (See: Twin Tower Terrorists May Have Made Dry Run)

But Woods himself has never publicly described the chilling encounter before.

Bump for Mr. James Woods.

I guess this makes up for The General's Daughter.

politically conservative actor

I am not sure of Mr. Woods politics, however, I do know he has spoken out against the terrorists and America Haters before. Also, he ridiculed Clinton on Leno and Letterman, saying Monica had "a rear end as big as a Oldsmobile", or something like that.

He has portrayed leftists in pictures, notably a left-leaning journalist in Oliver Stone's Salvador.

The hollyweird chic actress Shawn Young had a "Fatal Attraction" on him a few years ago. She was leaving decapitated dolls on his front porch and stuff like that.

Well, on one of the other threads about this, I believe I read that the FBI was NOT informed of Wood's suspicions. The FAA was, but not the FBI.

Woods was smart enough to trust his perceptions about these men and corageous enough to make them known. If more people were more like James Woods, i.e. able to think for themselves, there would be far fewer mind-numbed robots--and far fewer Liberals...ah, but that is redundant, isn't it?

I agree with your assessment of Woods, but feel that today he would have been arrested for his contact with the first officer -- and his fellow passengers would have had to complete their journey with their hands on top of their heads. Manos Arriba!! (sp?)

You may be right, but anyone who thinks for himself and marches to his own drumbeat will be disgusted by the follow-the-leader reflexes of the mind-numbed robots. The independent thought and behavior of such a person of independent thinking are often mistaken by the robots as rebellion--or stupidity. But if they were capable of independent thought, they likely would not be mind-numbed robots in the first place. The robots, as they flock after one leader du jour or another, after one trendy fad after another, cannot comprehend independent or original thinking or behavior, and they consider anyone who doesn't follow to crowd to be rebellious or stupid or insufficiently talented to flow with the trends. This guy Bruni apparently thinks George Bush is "shallow" because, evidently, George Bush is not up on the latest pop-culture trends and matinee idols! Obviously, Bush must be rebellious or stupid--i.e. "shallow" if he doesn't run with the herd.

I didn't mean to suggest that you would fail to recognize independent thinking for what it is or that you would mistake it for rebellion. I was observing that Liberals and other mind-numbed robots often do.

The terrorists probably put the men in different combinations on this test flight so they wouldn't raise any suspicions when they flew on the 11th. They wouldn't want to be seen travelling in the exact same groups, that's the kind of thing computers would be able to pick up on (and our intelligence community is very big on using computers, from what I understand).

It was a Buick.

Thanks.

I am laughing right now. Glad to see someone else has noticed the "legacy."

My wife has not taken me to Victoria's Secret lately, but I will have to ask if they carry the XXX-L thongs that Monica purchased.

If I am not mistaken, James Woods is a graduate of MIT, not your typical sheeple.
