November 12, 2001 -- The CIA has evidence that two more hijackers, besides terror leader Mohamed Atta, met with Iraqi intelligence officials earlier this year - bolstering arguments for a Baghdad role in the attacks, it was reported yesterday.

The two other skyjackers were Atta's friends and co-conspirators, Marwan al-Shehhi and Ziad Samir Jarrah, who were believed to have been at the controls of two of the pirated jets on Sept. 11.

The Case Against Sadam Hussein:

1. Behind WTC attacks in 1993.

2. Behind WTC/Pentagon Attacks on 9/11/2001. Three hijackers pilots were aided by Iraq. Hijacker pilots trained at Salman Pk in Iraq on how to use box cutters to hijack planes (this comes directly from Adm Woolsey on ABC Nightline). Pakistani general, head of Pakistani intelligence(ISI) and working for Iraq was removed in 9/2001 for his role in wiring hijacker pilot $100,000 shortly before 9/11.

3. Behind OKC Bombing. Iraqi recruiter, Iraqi intel agent and Iraqi member of Republican Guard from Gulf War aided McVeigh. Wolfowitz clims McVeigh was an Iraqi agent himself and had Iraqi phone numbers and the Clinton FBI covered this up.

4. Iraq started training 200 members of AlQaeda in Iraq in April 2001 on how to distribute and deliver chemical, biological and nuclear weapons including small pox, anthrax, dirty radioactive bombs, etc.

5. Iraq has further developed its weapons of mass destruction(biological, chemical and nuclear) and has not complied with its obligations the Gulf War to destroy these weapons. There is no doubt that Iraq will make these weapons available and provide training on how to use them to whatever terror group it can to attack the US civilian population even if AlQaeda cells were to be destroyed worldwide.

The world government socialists in Europe (particualarly Germany and France) are hysterical about telling the US it must not act against Iraq. And the world government socialists (Powell) in the Bush administration are trying to fend off the advice from Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz that Sadam must be overthrown and that the weapons of mass destruction should be eliminated ASAP.

The socialists appear to like having Iraq around to hold a gun at the heads of civilians in the West to extract more freeedom concessions to fight the terrorism they perpetuate by deliberate inaction.

There are some wealthy Repubs and Democrats who are afraid that US action against Iraq would sour trade relations with China and hurt their sweetheart business deals and billion dollar investments with China.

China of course has also been threatening the US against any military action against Iraq to protect Chinese economic and military investments in Iraq. China has been helping Iraq & the Taliban build telecommunications networks and fiber optic radar installations. China wants a secure supply of oil from Iraq.

Iraq is claiming it will attack Israel with weapons of mass destruction in order to dissuade Bush from taking action agasint Iraq. And Powell keeps whining that US action against Iraq would thus provoke action by Israel in self defense against Iraq . Powells says such resulting actions by Israel would undermine the coalition against the Taliban and the phony Powell peace agreement proposals with the PLO (Powell calls the PLO and Hamas freedon fighters!-BS) over Israel and Jerusalem. Powell and Iraq are deliberately playing a game of chicken over Israel with the rest of the Bush administration to protect Iraq.

The old addage applies with what we must do about Iraq:

"Pay me now, or pay me later". And if we pay too much later, the price will be enormously high. We must not wait until Iraq helps terrorists use small pox, anthrax and radioactive dirty bombs against the US or else we risk having millions of innocent civilians getting murdered. This is a monumental disaster waiting to happen if the US does not act very, very soon.

IF Powell wants to run the show, he should run for President. Until he is elected he is the Secretary of State and he needs to follow administration policy, not make up his own.

Not that I agree with Powell, I'm not even paying much attention to him to be honest, but he is doing what 'State' typically does, that is look for diplomatic solutions short of war. Nobody should be able to look back on us later and say we did not exhaust all possible diplomatic avenues before pounding Bagdad back to the biblical age.

RedBloodedAmerican posted this article today which provides further evidence of Iraq's links to terror attacks and the competing positions within the Bush administration about what to do about Iraq.

I've noticed lots of anti-Powell sentiment. I'm not a hard core news junky, but Powell sounded pretty supportive of the war against transnational terrorists. That's war spelled WAR. Can someone point out some of his non-supportive quotes here on FR?

As for Iraq, it is a forgone conclusion we will unseat Saddam and his supporters. Anything naysaying that by the gov't at this point I consider psych-warfare.

Powell is doing exactly what he should be:
A - he's acting like a diplomat not a soldier, diplomats are supposed to try to avoid war, even when they're in war.
B - he's presenting a "dissenting" opinion to show that the cabinet is not some lockstep mind controlled monolithic beast.
C - He's being over ruled, this isn't necessarily proper for Sec State, but it is proper for Powell who has a long proud history of being wrong.

I like Colin Powell. But if I recall, wasn't he at odds in some areas with George Sr. and Shwartzkopf over Desert Storm?

I think Powell has a very small role in the Bush Presidency.

He had a bigger role as Joint Chief of Staff in Bush I.

Jim Baker had a more prominent role as Secy of State in Bush I. Powell feels like the odd man out.

If China does not like what we are going to do tough luck. They should have kept Saddam on a short leash.

The source for the 200 Taliban (ALQaeda) members being trained by Iraq starting in July 2001 (versus April 2001-my error)is at:

Iraq trains Bin Laden’s Men in Use of Weapons of Mass Destruction

29 September: Increasing intelligence reports are reaching DEBKAfile that the 200 Taliban fighters reaching North Iraqi in mid-July were in fact members of Bin Laden’s Al Qaeda. They came in response to an Iraqi offer to train Al Qaeda terrorist personnel in the use of chemical and biological warfare weapons.....

I realize that there are skeptics about Debka but I have heard and read this same report several other places unrelated to Debka. I am pretty sure I heard and saw Adm Woolsey talk about it on a Frontline piece on Iraq last month.

As far as the Pakistani general wiring #100,000 to Atta here is a source (I have several other independent sources on this):

NEW DELHI: While the Pakistani Inter Services Public Relations claimed that former ISI director-general Lt-Gen Mahmud Ahmad sought retirement after being superseded on Monday, the truth is more shocking.

Top sources confirmed here on Tuesday, that the general lost his job because of the "evidence" India produced to show his links to one of the suicide bombers that wrecked the World Trade Centre. The US authorities sought his removal after confirming the fact that $100,000 were wired to WTC hijacker Mohammed Atta from Pakistan by Ahmad Umar Sheikh at the instance of Gen Mahumd.....

And for proof that Saddam would export weapons of mass destruction to other terror groups besides just AlQaeda see this WorldNetDaily Artilce (which was deliberaely deleted off FR!)

Saddam's secret weapons exports

Editor's note: As reported in the New York Times recently, Saddam Hussein is rebuilding factories that produce weapons of mass destruction inside Iraq. But what about the weapons Saddam has shipped out of Iraq and safely into other countries? And what are the details of Iraq's assistance in the Islamic genocidal killing fields of south Sudan? WorldNetDaily international correspondent Anthony C. LoBaido, who made two trips inside Iraq last fall -- in addition to visiting Jordan, Kurdistan and Denmark in pursuit of this story -- presents a revealing look at this dangerous scenario.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has smuggled weapons of mass destruction into Algeria, Sudan and Libya -- and has played an ongoing role in the war in Sudan between the Islamic government of Khartoum and the black, mostly Christian and animist South Sudanese People's Liberation Army, WorldNetDaily has learned.....

That is why the MOSSAD told the USA Govt that there were 200 members of the Al Queda terrorists on our soil. Remember Ashcroft saying they were looking for about 200 people???
