Al Qaeda Training Manual

The attached manual was located by the Manchester (England) Metropolitan Police during a search of an Al Qaeda member's home. The manual was found in a computer file described as "the military series" related to the "Declaration of Jihad." The manual was translated into English and was introduced earlier this year at the embassy bombing trial in New York. The Department is only providing the following selected text from the manual because it does not want to aid in educating terrorists or encourage further acts of terrorism.

None of the links work. Probably better that people don't see the contents of the manual.....as it could fall into the wrong hands and give other extremists ideas. Same reason why they quit giving Bin Laden media publicity, because he might be using certain keywords, etc.

If this information shouldn't be in the public hands, then you should tell the Attorney Genreral not to announce at a Senate Judicary Committee hearing that he is posting it on the Department of Justice website.

DOJ says they're releasing selected portions. They selected well. I'm reading this thing and it leaves the impression that these guys are crazier than s&#thouse rats, and meaner than rattlesnakes. Smart, too. There's a guide to setting up shop in an apartment block. Tells them to try for a new neighborhood, because people there don't know each other. And when based in a recently-constructed building, keep your voices down because newer buildings have thinner walls than older ones. Creepy.
