The CIA cut off contact with Mohamed and put his name on a "watch list" aimed at blocking his entrance to the United States, according to the official.

Nevertheless, Mohamed got a visa one year later. He ultimately became a U.S. citizen after marrying a Santa Clara woman. In 1986, he joined the U.S. Army as an enlisted man. He was posted to Fort Bragg, N.C., home of the elite Special Forces.

Thanks for the post. The FBI is completely incompetent. They are in cover up mode now. We need the truth out there.

If mistakes were made they need to be brought out not covered up. Hiding the truth will allow other FBI agents to be taken in by double agent informants.

The only way to prevent acts of terrorism is to study what went wrong, learn from mistakes, and take action now to correct problem areas.

Consistent. Will Bush ever clean house? Hanson wasn't enough of a wake-up call.

Qualfied linguists, especially those who can (or almost can) pass as part of the community they are translating, are like hen's teeth.
They are considered as valuable assets no matter how close to being nuts, treasonous, or socially/physically unfit for duty.
When assigned to one detached unit overseas I remember two that I trusted and four I would not trust with an order for lunch. The two I trusted were both born in the area we were concerned with, the others a mix.
I think at least one simply disappeared after discharge outside the US.

As good as the Monterey language school is deemed to be, most Americans are lousy linguists.
Plus, it is not likely that a North Korean agent would slide up to a caucasian who smells like dial and hamburgers just to start a conversation over nuclear missile dispositions.
(Well, maybe to cage a couple of Salems from him.)

On the other hand, there is no way that I'd trust any American born "student of Islam/believer in the Koran/PHD candidate in muslim history" etc. to be anything other than a brainwashed fellow traveler.
Education in another belief system or culture is faulty and usually roomantic unless it's been achieved largely on-site; knowledge at long range is a non-sequiter.
Besides, the level of reasoning displayed by students in US schools tells me that they are overwhelmingly prone to faling in love with their subject matter.

Ali Mohamed helped Bin Laden's secretary, el Hage set up AlQaeda terror cells in the US(& in Dallas) and to assist in the OKC bombing. The same AlQaeda cells he set up also helped in the 9/11 attacks. The FBI knew all of this while it was going on from 1992 to 1998 and ALi was the FBI informant. ALi was also indicted for the first WTC bombing and for the Tanzanian and Kenyan bombings-all the bombings that the FBI had advanced KNOWLEDGE OF from FBI informants for over six months (I have many news articles that prove this).

I have written articles and replies and posted others articles complaining about Ali Mohamed on the FR for over a year. I complained to the FBI, to the legal counsels for the Senate Intelligence Committe and the Senate Judiciary Committe , to my COngressmen and to my Senator, and to the Pentagon terror advisor about Ali Mohammed for over two years.

They did nothing and they knew and believed my information was correct. They all defended the corrupt and failed FBI policy of letting known ME terrorists roam for years in the US without being arrested or deported.

They still arrogantly believe the FBI has it all under control with these known terrorists even though they lost track of Ali Mohamed and Mohamed Atta (or did they??)

Even Paul Geiger of the FBI counter terror group in Buzards Point near DC( I have it on tape) had a long conversation with the Pentagon terror advisor where they just laughed it off that such a novice as me would dare suggest the FBI and CIA and Presidential policies were wrong, DEAD wrong about letting terrorists like Ali roam freely for years.

The BLOOD of murdered US citizens is now on their heads and hands, yet they still "lead" and "protect" us???

They still are letting known members of ABU Nidal(LA,DC,DALLAS), Hamas (OKC) and AlQaeda(4 on Eaast Coast) roam freely in the US despite the window dressing issued by Ashcroft and Bush that now we will not let any more in (but won't do anything about the ones here)and will freeze their assest abroad (but not in the US!!)

I take this personally when these clowns with their corrupt agendas get my friends and fellow citizens murdered and my country badly weakened by their stupidity. They will get more of us murdered if they are not replaced with more honest, smarter people.

The next chapter of US history will record that the US at this time had corrupt, arrogant and stupid bureaucrats and leaders in the FBI and DOJ and COngress that grossly failed to adequately protect their own American people.

Inconceivable. How in the world did the fox get into the henhouse with the farmer's blessing??? It's gonna take a bit more bloodshed before people's eyes will open to the stark reality. Right now PC still rules, and this eggshell-trodding so as not to offend anyone is going to result in a LOT more American deaths. I'm afraid for the future of our country.
