Propane tank plot detailed: Pair hoped to incite an uprising, a militia ex-leader testifies.

A former militia leader told a Sacramento jury Tuesday that abusive U.S. government tactics convinced him and others of the ultimate necessity to launch a guerrilla war against the federal establishment, starting with the destruction of two huge propane tanks in Elk Grove.

"He said it would help usher in marshal law, the Constitution would be suspended, people's rights would be violated, and the militia could rise up to meet the threat. The movement would spread across the country.

Notice how these "freedom fighters" were aiming for marshal law and the suspension of the Constitution.

Lets see now the main witness is ...Rudolph who testified he had lost touch with the planning when he was arrested on Christmas Eve of 1998 for possessing a machine gun. He has been in custody since then.

There is way he could be trying to get a get out of jail card....nah of course not!

Treat them like any terrorists.

They did it, they confessed, now shoot them.

They are wasting oxygen.

Rudolph told the jury he had heard there were missile silos hidden in the Buttes manned by United Nations troops, and he and his men had made two trips to the site in search of them. Asked by prosecutor R. Steven Lapham what he would have done had he found the troops, Rudolph said: "I would have killed them on the spot, no questions asked. They would have been foreign nationals on American soil. That's an attack on the United States."

I think the main reason Islamic Extremist terrorism has been so much more effective than homegrown militia nutball terrorism is that 99.99% of the militia nutballs are so amazingly stupid, incompetent, and lazy compared to the Islamic extremists.

I bet there are hundreds of these plots that fizzle out because they procrastinate, get too busy putting their junked pickup truck on blocks or whatever, and never get around to whatever nefarious anti-government terrorism plot they were going to do.

They expect their little mosquito bites will usher in marshal law. They don't understand history. You don't get revolutions when people are as comfortable in the US as they are now. You can evolution, not revolution.

The Islamic terrorists don't understand it either. They went over the top on 911, and now they will pay.
